Gene in the Grinder

I get taken to task for a lot of things. My views. My spiritual convictions. My politics.

Those kinds of things are fair game. As they should be.

Where I draw the line is making fun of my grammatical usage. My choice of conjugation to demonstrate a point. My use of incomplete sentences for emphasis.

It seems as if I was the topic of a chat board. People with too much time on their hands. I won't link to it.

I know I'm sometimes controversial. When we all get together to pick on Gene, I remember that game. The grinder. I remember it from Grade School. Those who decide to have a pick on Gene fest are just like the people years ago with runny noses and dirty faces who enjoyed the same game then.

Some things never change. I won't change just to avoid criticism.
