How Church should be

This is pretty great. A BBC announcer sees the broadcast of a Pentecostal service in Great Britain. He is astounded, never seen anything like it. Compares it to the churches he had visited as a kid. It's amusing and instructive for those of us who work in Church. This is pretty much what will cause an unbeliever to come in and look around.

Im reminded of 2 Corinthians 2:14 from The Message - In the Messiah, in Christ, God leads us from place to place in one perpetual victory parade. Through us, he brings knowledge of Christ. Everywhere we go, people breathe in the exquisite fragrance.

The truth is (from that last line of breathing in exquisite fragrance), church doesn't have to stink...

Selah.

There was a soup kitchen in the First Baptist church in ---,NC that had a soup kitchen. It was well run by many volunteers but the church decided it needed the space the soup kitchen utilized. It seemed sad that the biggest thing the Church did was stopped for more 'church' activities.
