I have often thought that God does this over and over and over again. The list is long. Not out of anger, but that there are no graven images. I once went to Topeka to find that house. It's not there. I went to Asuza. Nope. A plaque. I went to Wittenberg. Not much to see. God is a Spirit, and we must worship him in Spirit and in Truth and not in a memorial. IF a church is a memorial building, probably the Spirit (God) isn't. That's not universally true, He does visit, but He doesn't seem to put down roots. Buying or building is dangerous.
