Down the Drain is our healthcare system
As of this year over 51% of all medical people (Drs) work for a practice. There are now fewer private practitioners than employees. In 1982 only 4% of Doctors were employees. This trend turned under Reagan, Bush, Clinton, Bush and Obama. With Obamacare it will accelerate. Every Dr will work right along side his or her fellows at the post office and the DMV. What could possibly go wrong? I know that many physicians I know will now develop an exit strategy. At some point we will be short a hundred thousand doctors in the USA. With the number of baby boomers getting older, that's not a problem...(Sarcasm font on). The trend toward government controlling healthcare was underway, now it will accelerate until it goes off the cliff.
