It made no sense for Hillary to join the ticket replacing Biden . . from her perspective.
1 She doesn't like Obama much, he was pretty rough on her in the primary 5 years ago and memories are long. Why help him save his butt now?
2 IF they lose, she is a loser. Much harder to come back in 2016. See Sarah Palin
3 If they win, she would have to defend the Obama administration record for the 8 years prior. Not a pretty sight. She would lose. She would be seen as an incumbent.
4 IF she stays out, and then runs against Romney in 2016 (if he wins) she can hearken back to the Clinton years. She would be a tough cookie to beat.
She is smart and turning down Obama for the #2 spot was a no brainer. He must have begged her really hard yesterday. I am actually glad. She would have made it a tougher horse race. Let the games begin.
