The moment you post something to do with issues of the day then you always get comments from drive-by's who like to comment of the fact that as a preacher you should remain quiet on issues of the day because you should not be "political" as though because you are anointed to do the work of the ministry - you should ignore issues and just stay in the confines of scripture - this is such bogus thinking especially if you realise that part of our Job is to shine the light of the gospel into the dark. When you do that the rats and the cockroaches are going to start running. We cannot be silent on issues - on the contrary we must boldly speak up, confront, reprove, rebuke and of course exhort - this is imperative if we are going to make a difference in the world that we are living in.
When you die - will the world know you lived, will they know you made a difference - or did you succumb to your surroundings like a log succumbing to the fire - come on - stand up - rise up and be counted - let your voice be heard - speak up - speak louder - make a noise !!!!!!!!
