Saturday morning after 3 days in this conference and a night without sleep Friday night I heard the Lord say: “When you are out of alignment with me you will miss the fulfillment of my promises to you.”
We all know Matt 7:13-14. They are verses we have all used to convince people to live right.
13"Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
And of course every football fan has seen the John 3:16 sign in the end zone.
This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life. The Message
Now if you struggle with the message because it doesn’t exactly sound like the KJV, try the actual literal original language to English literal translation:
16for God did so love the world, that His Son -- the only begotten -- He gave, that every one who is believing in him may not perish, but may have life age-during.
Young’s literal Translation.
Let me tie this together the way the word of the Lord came to me Saturday.
“My blessings and promises are without repentance, I send them your way all the time, they flow from the throne. When you are in line with the pathway straight from the throne you are able to apprehend them, if you should step out of the path you will miss them. The promises and prophecies concerning your life that you long for so much can pass right by you if you are out of alignment with ME. You end up out of alignment from rebellion, sin, pride, unbelief and fear. Anything that is not the straight narrow path from and to the gate to my throne will cause you to go out of alignment with me and into alignment with another purpose. This isn’t about salvation of your soul, this isn’t about eternal life. This isn’t even about forgiveness of sin. That was paid for at the cross and you are secure in that. This is about you missing the purposes and destiny I have for you. I have great plans for you. They are without repentance. They are a gift. You can thwart them however by your rebellion. I gave my Son that your destiny and purpose need not be destroyed if you just believe and stay in alignment with ME. You can have a full life on this side of the veil and on the other. Examine yourself and see if there is any way that is out of alignment in your life and see if there is anything that isn’t as it should be. Not for the salvation of your soul, to enter into the life giving provision of blessing I have for you.”
We all know Psalm 139:24
And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
This is that way. The narrow path from you to the gate of the throne room and from the gate of the Throne room to you. His eternal purpose for you while you were still in your mother’s womb is constantly being downloaded and directed toward you. It’s just that sometimes we are out of line to receive or recognize it.
It’s like the crosshairs in a rifle scope. It looks directly down the pathway, as long as you are on the path you are in his crosshairs of prophetic fulfillment, blessing and provision. When you step out of the field of view he still sends it your way, it just misses you. You were out of alignment.
Peggy and I have determined not to miss God. Or more important not to have God miss us.
We have made some choices on Sunday after considering this prophetic word to change some things in our lives. I won’t tell them to you. They are none of your business.
You have some too.
Consider what God may be saying to you about getting back in his sights. He wants to send it on down. Get right in the center of his crosshairs.
