Last night I was at the House of Prayer.
The band started at 7pm and quit playing at 10.
I mean, non stop.
Prayers were made, the band played. The musicians have become so skilled at working together in spontaneous worship moving in an out of music and lyrics.
Just like the Greatful Dead used to do.
I never saw the Greatful Dead in concert but I have heard recordings. This sounds like that.
Jerry Garcia would have loved last night if he were still alive.
Maybe we might have asked him to play.
