Tony Bender grew up in Fredrick South Dakota. 12 miles south of my old home town of Ellendale.
Wanda Meidinger and I met in a class in Bismarck some years back.
Tony is the editor of the Wishek Newspaper. Wishek is a really small town in North Dakota.
He also is an author of several books most of which I own.
I mention that because he just wrote a good and I know for sure a true story of life on the Prairie.
It's here and if you read it you will get a grip on what it's like there. Not all sunshine and roses but a few.
It's a great story.
