A trend that I need to stop

There is an interesting statistic on this blog

You can find it by scrolling down the left hand side.

In 2004, the year I started this stupid hobby, I posted 4 posts. It was late December.

In 2005 -- 331

In 2006 -- 400

In 2007 -- 821

In 2008 -- 1115
That doesn't include the number of posts I posted on my new Prophetic Blog..

Add to the 1115 the 150 I posted there and the total is over 1250 posts for 2008.

I grant you some of these are cut and pastes. Some are just my musings on life. Some are cartoons or photos of interest, or videos.

But, how much drivel can one man generate.

Let's see, if I took 5 minutes on average to generate ONE post that equals 104 hours.

There are 2040 working hours in a year.

5% of 2040 is 102. Do the math.

So, 5% of my working time is spent blogging. Course some is weekends, nights, and holidays.

So maybe less.

Too much....

Or, I could be assembling ships in a bottle.

Naaaaah.

I'll blog. For me. I just can't let it get out of hand....
