18 Major Scandals in Obama's ‘Scandal-Free’ Presidency - Breitbart

President Obama and his mouthpieces
have embarked on a bizarre scheme to hypnotize America into forgetting
the many scandals of his presidency. They seem to think that intoning
“this administration hasn’t had a scandal” over and over again
will make history disappear. It’s the lamest Jedi Mind Trick ever, and
is being pushed on people who know Star Wars is just a movie.

Here’s a short list of the many scandals Team Obama thinks it can make America forget:


The great “stimulus” heist: Obama
seems to think nobody will remember he grabbed almost a trillion
dollars for “stimulus” spending, created virtually zero private-sector
jobs with it, allowed a great deal of the money to vanish into thin air, and spent the rest of his presidency complaining that he needed hundreds of billions more to repair roads and bridges.


Vast sums of taxpayer money were wasted on foolish projects
that came close to the Keynesian economic satire of hiring some people
to dig holes, and others to fill them in. Obama added insult to injury
by appointing Vice President Joe Biden as the “sheriff” who would supposedly find all that missing stimulus loot.






Americans mostly ended up footing the bill for was an army of government jobs, and a lavish network of slush funds
for the Democratic Party and its union allies. We’re supposed to forget
about all that because years later, Obama’s weak economy finally
dragged itself to something like normal “official” employment levels…
with the U.S. national debt doubled, and our workforce rate reduced
to Carter-era lows. Sorry, Democrats, but that’s more than just failed
policy. It’s one of the worst government-spending scandals in our
history. Democrats will howl to the moon over far, far smaller abuses of
taxpayer money during the Trump administration, should any occur.


Operation Fast and Furious: Obama
partisans seem to think any given example of abuse or ineptitude by
their man stopped being a “scandal” the moment it seemed clear he
wouldn’t be impeached over it. Operation Fast and Furious, the Obama
administration’s insane program to use American gun dealers and straw
purchasers to arm Mexican drug lords, is a scandal with a huge body count, prominently including Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry and Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agent Jamie Zapata, plus hundreds of Mexican citizens. Agent Terry’s family certainly thinks it qualifies as a scandal.


It
is difficult to imagine any Republican administration surviving
anything remotely close to Fast and Furious. The media would have dogged
a Republican president without respite, especially when it became clear
his Attorney General was putting political spin ahead of accountability
and the safety of the American people. Remember, AG Eric Holder escaped
perjury charges by claiming he didn’t know what his own subordinates
were doing – a pioneering, but sadly not unique, example of an Obama
official using his or her incompetence as a defense.
For years afterward, we would hear some version of “I’m not a crook,
I’m just completely inept” everywhere from the Department of Health and
Human Services to the Department of Veterans Affairs.






But this was Barack Obama, so the media downplayed Fast and Furious news… to the point where viewers of NBC News learned about the scandal for the first time when Holder was on the verge of being held in contempt by Congress for it.


The relatively benign explanation
for the astounding Fast and Furious scandal is that Obama’s Justice
Department wanted to release guns into the Mexican wild, like so many
radio-tagged antelope on a nature show, and follow them to arrest the
big fish of organized crime. (In case you were wondering, no, the guns
didn’t actually have radio tags in them – that was tried in the much smaller, and utterly disastrous, Bush-era program Obama’s team used as a model for their vastly larger and more careless program.) This explanation becomes more difficult to believe, the more you know about how careless the program was, and how abruptly it was shut down after Agent Terry’s death.


The more sinister take on Fast and
Furious is that the Obama administration wanted to create gun crimes in
Mexico so they could complain about lax regulations on American gun
sales – “for the purposes of creating a narrative that they could use in
America to try and thwart our Second Amendment constitutional rights,”
as Andrew Breitbart put it during a 2012 interview.






No matter which interpretation you subscribe to, or how much you think Barack Obama knew about the program when he made scurrilous claims of executive privilege
to shut down investigations, it’s an insult to a large number of murder
victims to claim it wasn’t a scandal. Unfortunately, the Bureau of
Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives hasn’t learned as much from the OFF debacle as we might have hoped.


Incidentally, the Border Patrol named
a station in southern Arizona in Agent Brian Terry’s honor. On New
Year’s Eve, persons unknown fired rifle shots at a Border Patrol vehicle near the station.


Eric Holder held in contempt of Congress: This
was a result of Operation Fast and Furious, but it merits distinction
as a separate scandal in its own right. Holder was the first sitting
member of a president’s cabinet in the history of the United States to
be held in contempt of Congress.






Of course, Democrats closed ranks
behind Holder, the White House protected him, and the media allowed
Holder to spin the contempt vote as mere “political theater.” In
reality, it was a difficult step that responsible members of Congress
didn’t want to take, and it was fully justified by Holder’s disgraceful
conduct in the Fast and Furious investigation. No reasonable person
could possibly review the way OFF was handled and conclude it was an
example of transparency and accountability.


ObamaCare: Everything about ObamaCare is a scandal, from the President’s incessant lies about keeping your old plan if you liked it, to Rep. Nancy Pelosi’s “we need to pass it to find out what’s in it” dereliction of Congressional duty.


ObamaCare is a scam, pure and simple – sold on false pretenses by people who knew it wasn’t going to work the way they promised. It doesn’t feel right to dismiss it as a “failed” scheme when so much of the failure was intentional.
The bill was so sloppily crafted that Democrats were basically signing
blank sheets of paper when they rushed it through Congress in a
foul-smelling cloud of back-room deals. ObamaCare’s designers
precipitated a constitutional crisis by forgetting they left in a provision
to cut subsidies for states that didn’t set up health-care exchanges – a
provision that would have killed the entire program stone-dead two
years ago, if it had been enforced as written.


The Supreme Court rewrote ObamaCare on the fly twice to keep it alive, which is a scandal in and of itself. President Obama delayed and rewrote the law so often it was impossible to keep track of the changes, cutting Congress out of the loop completely. (Actually, someone did keep careful track of them, and the tally was up to 70 distinct changes by January 2016.)


That made some of Obama’s rewritten mandates and deadlines blatantly illegal
– but then, the Affordable Care Act isn’t really a “law” in the sense
American government understood the term. In practice it became something
entirely new, an enabling act that gave the executive unlimited power
to do whatever it thought necessary to keep the system running. If
subverting the American system of government isn’t a scandal, what is?


And let’s not forget the scandal of ObamaCare’s disastrous launch, foisted on the American people even though its designers knew it had severe flaws – the billion-dollar website that cost another billion dollars to fix
after it crashed, accompanied by a constellation of state exchanges
that blew up like Roman candles of bureaucratic incompetence. Let us not
forget the absolute zero accountability for this disaster, mismanaged
by everyone from President Obama to HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, who
treated the biggest new government program in several generations as
though it were a minor side project that could be handled by
subordinates with minimal supervision.


Spying on journalists: Establishment media came about as close to falling out of love with Barack Obama as ever when his administration was caught spying on journalists.


Why, if the reporter subjected to the most egregious surveillance, James Rosen, didn’t work for Fox News, the mainstream media might have started treating Obama like a (shudder) Republican. Rosen was treated so badly that even Attorney General Eric Holder eventually admitted feeling a bit of “remorse” about it. Apparently he felt so much anguish that he suffered temporary amnesia and forgot to tell Congress that he signed off on the request to wiretap Rosen while he was testifying under oath.


The IRS scandal: The selective targeting
of conservative groups by a politicized Internal Revenue Service was a
scandal grenade Democrats and their media pals somehow managed to
smother, even though the story began with the IRS admitting wrongdoing.


Democrats suffocated the scandal by acting like circus clowns
during congressional hearings, but at no point were the actual facts of
the case truly obscured: yes, pro-life and Tea Party groups were
deliberately targeted for extra scrutiny, their tax exemption
applications outrageously delayed until after the 2012 election without
actually being refused.
If anything remotely comparable had been done to, say, environmentalist
and minority activist groups by the IRS under a Republican
administration, the results would have been apocalyptic.


There’s also no question about the facts of the follow-up scandal, in which IRS officials brazenly lied about having backups of relevant computer data. The American people were expected to believe that multiple state-of-the-art hard drives failed, and were instantly shredded instead of being subjected to data recovery procedures.


Luckily for the politicized IRS, the Justice Department was hyper-politicized under Obama too, so no charges were filed, and scandal kingpin Lois Lerner got to enjoy her taxpayer-funded retirement after taking the Fifth to thwart lawful congressional investigation.

Islam is not truly a religion. It is more a political ideology; More like mythology. Rather than many gods, aggregately faceting Greek pagan theology, Islam has several arms. There is little authority given the deity. Mullah, imams, ayatollahs establish schisms dividing the systematic theology into warring tribes.

Before we indict 1.6 billion Muslims, let's look at the State of our Christian Union. American cultural Christianity is piece by piece stripping the Mystery of Godliness of its theological certainty.

The centrality of scripture has disappeared. The disengagement of even basic dependence on scripture, leaves marriage, sexuality, and the certainty of faith in shreds. Abortion and promiscuity darken the nation's soul.

Abdication by our institutions in regard to creation, resurrection, and the inspiration of scripture leaves us with a hypocritical agnosticism where the amalgam of cosmic thought is regarded as rustic signposts to help one in search of truth. Buddhism , Shintoism, animism, Islam, Hinduism, judaism, Christianity, humanism form one gigantic compendium of humanity's desire to know more. Of course, more can be less.

All religions have a seat at the table of modern theology. Cultural Christianity is not much more than a political ideology. The historical singularity of Evangelicalism is hated, denied and universally repugnant to the wisest of religious thinkers. Even our Christian Clergy has grown weary of defending Christ, the Way, the Truth and the Life.

The effort to humanize Christ, making Him no more than an historical figure, continues to emasculate Christian evangelical efforts. Although our basic Western Civilization humanitarian standards are far and away better than most cultures, what we have done in America to the Faith of Our Fathers is regrettable.

Stop Calling Them Liberals by Stacey Lennox

One of my pet peeves is that words actually have meanings and people tend to misuse them all the time. The Progressive Left is the master of this, actually changing the meaning of words to fit their narrative. For example, Planned Parenthood provides "women's healthcare". No they don't. They perform abortions. Throngs of people breaking windows, assaulting others and lighting stuff on fire is not a "protest". It's a riot. Finally the folks in the streets participating are not "anarchists". They want free birth control, free healthcare and free tuition. Anarchists actually believe in the self governance through participation in voluntary institutions, not Obamacare.

Now for the most maddening misuse of language. When folks on the political Right call Democrats and their grassroots activists "liberals". In reality, nothing could be further from the truth. And I am going to tell you why we need to knock it off.

The political Left has evolved into a completely illiberal movement. Liberalism throughout European and American history was defined by the hallmarks of free markets, individual property rights, free expression, individual freedom and freedom from unwarranted government intrusion. According to Encyclopedia Britannica:

"Liberalism, political doctrine that takes protecting and enhancing the freedom of the individual to be the central problem of politics. Liberals typically believe that government is necessary to protect individuals from being harmed by others; but they also recognize that government itself can pose a threat to liberty. As the revolutionary American pamphleteer Thomas Paine expressed it in “Common Sense” (1776), government is at best “a necessary evil.” Laws, judges, and police are needed to secure the individual’s life and liberty, but their coercive power may also be turned against him. The problem, then, is to devise a system that gives government the power necessary to protect individual liberty but also prevents those who govern from abusing that power."

Hmmmm. The party of Mr. I Have A Pen And A Phone are the Liberals? The same guy whose administration lost a higher percentage of cases in front of the Supreme Court than any modern President? Of course they aren't. What Barack Obama and the current iteration of the Democratic party actually espouse are Progressive values and Fabian Socialist principles. Progressives truly see the Constitution as a fluid document and are responsible for genius reforms such as the popular election of Senators and the 16th Amendment which allowed for unbridled Federal taxation.

These moves paved the way for the Fabian wet dream of crippling the federal system in the United States, centralizing power to a group of folks who are supposedly smarter than you in the central government, and an expansive welfare state. If you have never heard of Fabian Socialism the best description I have seen comes from Jerry Bowyer in his article for Forbes "Barack Obama, Fabian Socialist" in 2008:

"Fabians believed in gradual nationalization of the economy through manipulation of the democratic process. Breaking away from the violent revolutionary socialists of their day, they thought that the only real way to effect “fundamental change” and “social justice” was through a mass movement of the working classes presided over by intellectual and cultural elites."

It is no wonder that Baby Boomers have moved to the political Right over time. The generation of college educated working class kids that burned their bras, started the Free Speech movement in Berkeley, fought for civil rights and defined speaking truth to power in the modern era looked around. By 2008 they were stuck in a party that sought to divide us, insists on conformity and limits choice and individual freedom in almost everything other than whether or not you get to kill an unborn child.

What started as a tendency to divide people into the have's and the have not's during the Industrial Revolution has evolved to the modern Progressive strategy of dividing by every possible characteristic. Gender, race, sexuality, economic status, disability and most recently geography just to name a few. And if you don't subscribe to their views about any of the issues facing these groups you are a racist, misogynist, xenophobe Nazi who needs to check their privilege if you are white or be shamed if you are a member of one of the said minority groups and dare to utter a non-conforming opinion. I fully expect Netroots Nation will soon include a policy work group for Asian female to male transgender midgets with asthma. And I am not kidding.

So just stop referring to the Democrats and their Far Left grassroots organizations as Liberals. Overall the vast majority of all synonyms for liberal are positive characteristics. There is nothing positive about the collectivism advocated by the political Left, unless you are a political or intellectual elite. For the rest of us, it just makes our lives equally shitty. There is nothing positive about the shaming of large groups of people for their values and ideals because they don't conform. There is certainly nothing positive about the politics of personal destruction, property damage and violence the political Left endorses and encourages to shut down dissent, intimidate their fellow citizens or force compliance with their agenda.

There is a reason that Debbie Wasserman-Schultz was stumped when she was asked to differentiate between the Democratic Party and Socialists during the Democratic Primary. As of 2016, you simply couldn't. There is also a reason that since the Democrats lost an election their Far Left grassroots organizations have gone on a nationwide temper tantrum. The slow march of Socialism through our institutions of government, the media, education and even entertainment advocated by the Fabians came to an abrupt end with the rise and election of Donald Trump.

The media and entertainment industries have never been faced with a population who shrugs off their influence so readily or loudly in modern memory. The Democrats have been decimated at the state and local level and now are in the minority at the Federal level. So these activists have embraced the tactics of the revolutionary working class of the late 19th and early 20th Century while lacking any real moral claim to being oppressed because nothing else is working. The mask is slipping and their policy goals are become readily apparent.

So let's finish this. Stop calling them liberal. They aren't. As if to prove my point, they went on a destructive violent rampage last night to shut down a speech from an openly gay, Jewish immigrant who has the freedom to call his speaking tour "Dangerous Faggot". And you know what? To the tolerant Far Left he is. Because he says things like this:

To think that The Body of Christ, helped create the entertainment juggernaut which opposed the election of DJT is staggering. After fifty years of movie approval and acceptance, our adulterous relationship with the Jezebel of SoCal has brought us a Frankenstein capable of serious opposition to the American way of life.

Yesterday's March for Abortion was led primarily by cinema and music industries' icons. Threatening the removal of our new president and the burning of the White House, the film and social media darlings shook the world with 2.5 million angry demonically inspired followers railing against motherhood and all things holy.

Some now call for a Holy Resistance to stem the tide of filth washing the streets of our nation. I wish us well. The Enemy is now at the gate. Coming like a flood, our hope is that the Spirit of the Lord will raise a standard against Satan.

Surely our submission and lustful immersion in cinematic filth the past fifty years have not been components of the Standard our Lord Jesus now must raise.

My Preacher Father did not allow us to attend movies. He opened the door of hell on Sunday nights to allow us to view the eternity of those who would spend Saturday nights in the Bosom of Jezebel, the local motion picture theatre.

Boycott was not necessary in the Assemblies of God 70 years past. Our parents dismissed all movies as unacceptable. We just did not enter a theatre. Of course, we later installed media centers in the lavishly appointed personal palaces we call home.

As time passed, our pastors led the parade to the Worship Centers of Dagon, bowing before Almighty Oscar. Everybody knew the West Coast Philistine Priesthood and its Temple Courtesans. We followed all lascivious behavior, adulterous couplings and ruinous family ruptures. Christians, too, were enraptured by the scenery on the Road to Ruin.

Now, The Cesspool of Hell, Hollywood, becomes the progenitor of sermon topics. Our family values oriented American Way is abhorred by the cinematic pimps and whores pitching same sex marriage, abortion, LGBT lifestyles, pedophilic toilet alignment and anarchy in the streets of our cities. Still we call on these demonic deacons to assist in sermon preparation.

These Bacchanalian Serial Servers of the Effluent of Hell itself have now attempted to overthrow the middle-America choice of a new administration

Can we go back to sermons on Star Wars and Rocky Balboa? Can we continue to laud WWF and cage fighters? Can we ever turn away from drugged behemoths struggling to concuss and maim one another?

The best guide to what Donald Trump will do as president appears to be what he said he would do as president.

We are in a soft Civil War in the United States.

On one side are the women's Marchers, mainstream media, far left wing of the Democratic Party, racial victim radicals,. Left-wing education Lobby and public unions.

On the other are business people, farmers, Trade union workers, rural American dwellers,. Displaced and underprivileged working class, evangelicals and those who voted for Donald Trump.

Yes there is an attempt for some to remain on Middle Ground. That is now much more difficult than they thought it would be. It's hard to stay neutral a Civil War.

The hard reality is there can only be a winner and a loser. The loser must be vanquished not compromised with.

It's a hard truth. But War has been declared. Be clear what side you have chosen to be on.

A Primer on Unity at the Executive Level in Business or Government.

Some have wondered about Donald's Trump's Quick decision to fire the active attorney general last night.  It's as it should be.  She represents the Administration or at least did till she didn't.


I have had the privilege of having been the CEO of several organizations; CEO and President in some cases. My accountability was to ownership. In larger organizations there is a board of Directors that has the ability to remove the CEO. And every year the Board is elected by the shareholders. It’s how it works.

As the CEO (chief executive) for those organizations I had people who worked for me in management positions. We would have management meetings. It was behind those closed doors that decisions were ironed out. We might have had severe disagreements behind those doors but in the end, when we walked out of that room, we all stood as one, in agreement with whatever was decided.

If one of those managers who worked for me disagreed with me before the employees or customers, that was grounds for immediate dismissal. No questions asked. In business or in Government the executive function must be unified. He must have those who work for him in management fully in step. If they cannot go along with his decisions, they can deal with those issues in a management meeting or they can resign. They do NOT have the right to go public with a dissenting opinion. They as managers represent the decisions of the executive. Any undermining must be dealt with swiftly.

Business is not a democracy. The executive branch of the Government of the USA is not a democracy. If you work for the President or represent yourself as working for the President you must stand as ownership of the decisions the President makes. Defend them. Carry out his orders. If you cannot, you must resign or be fired.

The executive branch must have a Chief Executive and every member of his or her administration must support publicly the decisions of the Chief Executive. Imagine what a mess it would be if every member of the executive branch decided to use his or her own discretion for the function of their department?

It cannot be. It may seem draconian, but that’s how it must work. Even President Obama demanded that level of absolute allegiance from his cabinet and their employees.

There is money available to build the wall

Here's some build the wall math you need to know. There's two trillion dollars stored up by corporations that are centered in the United States but it kept offshore because of high taxes. Repatriating that money back into the United States at a tax rate of 10% will produce two hundred billion dollars. The wall will cost 80 billion. So by tearing down the wall that is keeping out money that should be bringing new jobs to America with high tax rates of the Obama Administration will allow us to build the wall that we need on our Southern border. trading one wall for another. Good Advice for those over 65 (and maybe even younger)

 1. It’s time to use the money you saved up. Use it and enjoy it.  Don’t just keep it for those who may have no notion of the sacrifices you made to get it. Remember there is nothing more dangerous than a son or daughter-in-law with big ideas for your hard-earned capital. Warning: This is also a bad time for investments, even if it seems wonderful or fool-proof. They only bring problems and worries. This is a time for you to enjoy some peace and quiet.

 

2. Stop worrying about the financial situation of your children and grandchildren, and don’t feel bad spending your money on yourself. You’ve taken care of them for many years, and you’ve taught them what you could. You gave them an education, food, shelter and support. The responsibility is now theirs to earn their own money.

 

3. Keep a healthy life, without great physical effort. Do moderate exercise (like walking every day), eat well and get your sleep. It’s easy to become sick, and it gets harder to remain healthy. That is why you need to keep yourself in good shape and be aware of your medical and physical needs. Keep in touch with your doctor, do tests even when you’re feeling well. Stay informed.

 

4. Always buy the best, most beautiful items for your significant other. The key goal is to enjoy your money with your partner. One day one of you will miss the other, and the money will not provide any comfort then, enjoy it together.

5. Don’t stress over the little things. You’ve already overcome so much in your life. You have good memories and bad ones, but the important thing is the present. Don’t let the past drag you down and don’t let the future frighten you. Feel good in the now. Small issues will soon be forgotten.

 

6. Regardless of age, always keep love alive. Love your partner, love life, love your family, love your neighbor and remember: “A man is not old as long as he has intelligence and affection.”

 

7. Be proud, both inside and out. Don’t stop going to your hair salon or barber, do your nails, go to the dermatologist and the dentist, keep your perfumes and creams well stocked. When you are well-maintained on the outside, it seeps in, making you feel proud and strong.

 

8. Don’t lose sight of fashion trends for your age, but keep your own sense of style. There’s nothing worse than an older person trying to wear the current fashion among youngsters. You’ve developed your own sense of what looks good on you – keep it and be proud of it. It’s part of who you are.

 

9. ALWAYS stay up-to-date. Read newspapers, watch the news. Go online and read what people are saying. Make sure you have an active email account and try to use some of those social networks. You’ll be surprised what old friends you’ll meet. Keeping in touch with what is going on and with the people you know is important at any age.

 

10. Respect the younger generation and their opinions. They may not have the same ideals as you, but they are the future, and will take the world in their direction. Give advice, not criticism, and try to remind them that yesterday’s wisdom still applies today.

 

11. Never use the phrase: “In my time.” Your time is now. As long as you’re alive, you are part of this time. You may have been younger, but you are still you now, having fun and enjoying life.

 

12. Some people embrace their golden years, while others become bitter and surly. Life is too short to waste your days on the latter. Spend your time with positive, cheerful people, it’ll rub off on you and your days will seem that much better. Spending your time with bitter people will make you older and harder to be around.

 

13. Do not surrender to the temptation of living with your children or grandchildren (if you have a financial choice, that is). Sure, being surrounded by family sounds great, but we all need our privacy. They need theirs and you need yours. If you’ve lost your partner (our deepest condolences), then find a person to move in with you and help out. Even then, do so only if you feel you really need the help or do not want to live alone.

14. Don’t abandon your hobbies. If you don’t have any, make new ones. You can travel, hike, cook, read, dance. You can adopt a cat or a dog, grow a garden, play cards, checkers, chess, dominoes, golf. You can paint, volunteer or just collect certain items. Find something you like and spend some real time having fun with it.

 

15. Even if you don’t feel like it, try to accept invitations. Baptisms, graduations, birthdays, weddings, conferences. Try to go. Get out of the house, meet people you haven’t seen in a while, experience something new (or something old). But don’t get upset when you’re not invited. Some events are limited by resources, and not everyone can be hosted. The important thing is to leave the house from time to time. Go to museums, go walk through a field. Get out there.

16. Be a conversationalist. Talk less and listen more. Some people go on and on about the past, not caring if their listeners are really interested. That’s a great way of reducing their desire to speak with you. Listen first and answer questions, but don’t go off into long stories unless asked to. Speak in courteous tones and try not to complain or criticize too much unless you really need to. Try to accept situations as they are. Everyone is going through the same things, and people have a low tolerance for hearing complaints. Always find some good things to say as well.

 

17. Pain and discomfort go hand in hand with getting older. Try not to dwell on them but accept them as a part of the cycle of life we’re all going through. Try to minimize them in your mind. They are not who you are, they are something that life added to you. If they become your entire focus, you lose sight of the person you used to be.

 

18. If you’ve been offended by someone – forgive them. If you’ve offended someone - apologize. Don’t drag around resentment with you. It only serves to make you sad and bitter. It doesn’t matter who was right. Someone once said: “Holding a grudge is like taking poison and expecting the other person to die.” Don’t take that poison. Forgive, forget and move on with your life.

 

19. If you have a strong belief, savor it. But don’t waste your time trying to convince others. They will make their own choices no matter what you tell them, and it will only bring you frustration. Live your faith and set an example. Live true to your beliefs and let that memory sway them.

 

20. Laugh. Laugh A LOT. Laugh at everything. Remember, you are one of the lucky ones. You managed to have a life, a long one. Many never get to this age, never get to experience a full life. But you did. So what’s not to laugh about? Find the humor in your situation.

 

21. Take no notice of what others say about you and even less notice of what they might be thinking. They’ll do it anyway, and you should have pride in yourself and what you’ve achieved. Let them talk and don’t worry. They have no idea about your history, your memories and the life you’ve lived so far. There’s still much to be written, so get busy writing and don’t waste time thinking about what others might think. Now is the time to be at rest, at peace and as happy as you can be!

Style Versus Substance:

After 8 years of posturing, posing, prevaricating, pandering, and just plain lying, are We The People ready for plain Jane, unadulterated, a little rough around the edges and definitely not smooth? Can we handle the regular Joe versus, the actor in chief? Is it possible for us to have respect for someone who sounds more like us than Jean Luc Picard on his mission into the unknown?

So many questions but the answers are far less complex than we can imagine. There is a hunger within each of us that cries out for truth and we have been denied it for a long time by the news media and its commitment to an agenda/philosophy driven manipulation of the people. Mr. Trump may not be smooth, but we can trust and then verify what he says. The media folks want to lie to us in a fashion that shows that they are our moral superiors, those who should have the rule over us through their elite positions. I trust them as far as I can throw them.

We have a great responsibility now to not only trust, but verify as one of the better Presidents told us, but also to hold our leadership to a level of performance that would warrant our trust. That means that we need to tell them what we want at all times. When they stray from the path that we have placed them on and drift from their promises, we must loudly protest and with gusto demand that they get back to the basic principles that they told us guided them. Laziness on our part may have aided in the process of the marxification of the White House. Not taking care of our foundational responsibilities in the education arena might have led to the capture of the system by socialists and atheists and the drift to the left that is captivating our children. Again, time to stand up and grab hold of the rudder of that ship and get it back on course. If that means private schools, then sacrifice for it, if it means home schooling, then do as God directs.

You want America to be great again? The its up to you to "make it so". This is work for the committed, not the coddled. Time for the worker in all of us to get to work, righting the wrongs, tearing down the strongholds, and being an example of what is important in this life and the life to come for our children and future generations. Wouldn't it be great to know that history may record our time on the planet as the "great resurgence of first principles". A time remembered fondly and proudly as the time when America restored its roots and found its focus again. May God help us to make it so.

DOES DONALD J TRUMP CARRY THE JEREMIAH 1:10 MANDATE?

I had Donald Trump all wrong. He's not here to get along, he's here to tear down before building up. It is the work of an iconoclast. It's also a prophetic mandate.

This came to me when i was hearing the wail of liberals on how a LIBERAL CIVIL RIGHTS ICON LIKE JOHN LEWIS was being torn down by Donald Trump. Then it hit me, he is a classical iconoclast. A breaker of images. His tackling the press is this.

He represents the mandate of God given to Jeremiah the Prophet:

"See, I have this day appointed you to the oversight of the nations and of the kingdoms to root out and pull down, to destroy and to overthrow, to build and to plant".

Jeremiah 1:10.

While he is not a prophet, he does carry a mantel to tear down..a breaker anointing to overthrow the established order. The work of an Iconoclast. Not all iconoclasts are prophets, but all prophets must at their core be iconoclasts

FOR MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS UPSET THAT DONALD TRUMP IS SOON THE PRESIDENT -- Please read this

Trump is not like anyone you have seen in office perhaps since LBJ or FDR. Neither of those men feared the press. Neither does Trump. Why should he? They can’t touch him. Oh, they can stir up phony outrage, but in the end he wins. He did today.

CNN really stepped in it by releasing or causing to be released a totally fabricated story of whores peeing on a bed. Even if you hate Trump, you gotta love truth. Loving truth means that when someone comes up with a fake story with no substantiation whatsoever you may not be required to defend the man, but you must defend the truth.

Trump does not reward incompetence. It’s how he became wealthy. How he gained and now holds power. If you oppose him, he will strike back, twice as hard. President Obama said that but he never was able to wield the authority to get the job done. He never learned to strike hard. What you are seeing now is the kind of authority in office we have been missing for a long time. Not even with Bush 2.

I wonder if CNN will even be given white house credentials. Trump has the ability to withhold them and in my opinion should.

Next time someone comes up with another fake accusation about Trump it will bounce off him like a pea shooter from a battle ship. The press if they are smart will have learned their lesson from this. That they need to be more careful.

I do wish the press including CNN were populated with smart people. They aren’t. When Trumps Lawyer outlined they structure for distance in Trumps business, the press tried to shoot it down. Their lack of understanding and knowledge became instantly apparent. You don’t need to know anything to be a reporter. Brian Williams demonstrated that. You just gotta look good doing it.

It’s also the reason President Trump must NEVER release his tax returns….ever. No one could understand them and even if they tried they would misinterpret them. It’s a lost cause.

My Fellow Christian Brothers and Sisters who are upset that President Trump exists, I know it’s a painful time for you. Your Beloved President is stepping down for someone who doesn’t share your view of how the world should work. Let me tell you, I understand. When President Obama became POTUS in 2009 I had the same emotions. George W Bush who despite some screw ups, I liked as a human being immensely. My concern with Pres Obama was his lack of experience. He had never actually held a real job. I’m not one who would say as some have that he came into office without any experience and is leaving the same way. He leaves with experience. I don’t believe him to have been a very good or successful President. I DO think he leaves a great role model of a moral man who loves his family and demonstrates all that is good. I am however glad his term is over. When he did right or made good decisions which did happen from time to time I applauded him. Supported him. When he got it wrong I did not.

I have lived thru the last 8 years. It’s been painful. I am of the firm position that his Presidency has had a negative effect on the Church of Jesus. Moral certitude that in 2008 regarding marriage, abortion, gays in the military, acceptance of Islam and sloth has become a part of the canon and that’s not good. Too much of his leaven has invaded the church of Jesus particularly in the community and it’s time to come back to righteousness. Start standing for truth once again. There is a lot to repent of from being polluted by the democrat party.

You probably won’t agree with me.. I get that. You will survive this for the next 8 years. If after 8 years of Trump Pence or Perhaps Pence somebody. I survived Obama. The nation will go on. He’s not the antichrist and I never thought Obama was. Just relax, give the man a chance. See if he might surprise you and be prepared to say, “I might just have been wrong about him”. I know that seems impossible right now.. but it’s time for peace. Don’t get all upset about every little thing he does. You’ll go nuts. I know many say being a liberal democrat is mental illness.. it may not be, but getting all verklempt over everything Trump says or does and taking offense to it is spiritual Trump Derangement Syndrome. Stop being led around by everything you see and hear. Stand for truth.

Lukewarm don't work

This is not only spiritually, but churches that less tolerant of alternate lifestyles are thriving. For those who tried to remain "Neutral" (There is no such thing in the Kingdom) they are dying. They stand for nothing so they drift off into oblivion.
