What BAD Governance in ILLINOIS looks like

Illinois has 102 Counties.  7 counties make up 95% of all the deaths from Corona Virus in the whole state.  That means that 95 counties that behaved themselves are now being punished by a lock-down from the big boy Pritzger.  If you look at the map on this link, you will see that most of the counties have sufferer only 1 or fewer fatalities.  Yet Chicago and Cook Country pile up the Bodies like crazy. Illinois is not homogeneous.  It is two very different places.  7 county and the rest.  Time to break this mess into two states and let the new state buy it's own dead.

We will suffer fewer than 40,000 deaths

As the decline in death counts accelerates and the exponent becomes smaller and smaller, the argument to continue our national nightmare in lock down is less and less tangible.

There will be many people pointing to Prayer, Social Distancing, Stay Home Orders, Drugs, Medical Care, Herd Immunity, Masks and Hand Sanitizers as reasons why this is working.

I won't argue that some of this is true.. yet perhaps the virility of the virus is overstated.  Surely those who were compromised already have been lost the most. They may not have made it into 2021 in any case.

Was it worth destroying the American Economic System for this?  Was it worth going into national debt at an insane rate in this?   40,000 is not insignificant.. but it could have been manageable without.

Here's what my best educated guess is.. you can take it or leave it.

In 2016 America elected a new Sheriff: Donald J Trump. For decades the Chinese walked all over America but the new President said “not anymore”. Trump literally strangled China’s economy to the point their economy was in its worst free fall ever. Trump negotiated a new 50 billion trade agreement. He had Xi by the proverbial balls. America’s economy was on fire and unstoppable. President Xi Jingping knew he could not beat the USA militarily and he knew any domesticated economic attack would fail as our economy was too strong. He had to act. But how?

Enter the USA democrats led by Pelosi and Schiff. Impeachment. A hoax. A distraction for our people and President. Xi Jingping and his thugs see this. They aren’t stupid. They have very intelligent intellectual thinkers in their government. Now you must understand , the Chinese regime are truly Barbarians. Notice I did not say ALL CHINESE. The Chinese people are a good people. I enjoy my interactions with them. 

The communist regime has millions of its own citizens slaving in gulags simply for speaking against the government or openly practicing Christianity. Knowing they could not attack us openly they needed to be coy, like a deceptive fox. In my opinion, I believe the regime released a biological weapon upon the world that doesn’t kill everyone, but kills “enough,” especially the elderly and in-firmed. Back in WW 2 Hitler thought the same way. He got rid of what he considered the useless and rejects of society. 

Trumps task force uses models to figure things. Xi used and uses “models” too. He figured that if he killed a few of his own (a few hundred thousand to them would be a few out of 1.4 billion people) and spread the virus to other nations (especially to the USA) they would “level the economic playing field” and not have fired a shot. 

Losses of his own people were acceptable costs of a new war. When China’s own doctors attempted to sound the warning, they were immediately silenced. In fact one died and another has simply disappeared. Trump and the other allied leaders indeed KNOW this is what happened. They have under reported their own deaths. Trump knows he cannot outrightly seek retribution. His news conference today showed me this when he balked publicly about no outright retribution over Xi’s handling of this and he immediately brought up the “trade deal”. However, Trump wasn’t being weak, he too was now being coy. We know this was a biological weapon. The food market story is bullshit. 

Xi knows we know it. Trump also today announced he sent two battle groups of destroyers and other ships to sea several days ago to fight drugs and rogue actors like Iran should they try anything. 

I say he did this to show Xi he knows what has transpired (we have the greatest intelligence assets) and that they (the Chinese) should rethink further action. Politics is premier. We cannot overtly attack China for what they have done as we would also suffer greatly. We all know this. 

But China has temporarily achieved its goal. America was literally consumed by Trumps phony impeachment brought by the ultra left democrats (supported by democrat rank and file and one Republican Mitt Romney) and Xi Jingping saw an opening. He took it. Xi did what Trump usually does...he walked onto the world stage and threw a grenade into the “room” and left. It exploded in the form of this worldwide pandemic. It brought the USA and the rest of the world to its knees and leveled the economic playing field. 

Our economy is now near depression. Xi didn’t fire one bullet. Trump needed to up his game of chess and putting our Naval ships to sea was his next move. He said he is a “war” President. He is. 

But now on not one but two fronts. One front is the virus and the other front is the Chinese. While the Saudi’s and Russians are screwing with oil prices they aren’t overtly doing what this pandemic is doing. The drug smuggling story for dispatching the Naval Force is bullshit and the world knows it. I am of the opinion Trump can indeed bring us back from this catastrophe albeit with a changed playing field. 

But Trump is a genius in chess and financial matters. He’s become a champ at international politics too. I am sure Trump can once again lead the economy to even stronger strength and greatness the it was . He can do it quickly I’m sure of it. He has proved it. Xi Jingping needs to be sent a message loud and clear. NEVER AGAIN. We need to bring all of our critical manufacturing back from China beginning with our medicines they were recently threatening to withhold. We can do it immediately. Again, another reason for Trump putting to sea such a sizable Naval Force. Sending a clear message. 

We all must ride out the next few weeks. Then we and the world pick up the pieces and move on. The democrats who have given Xi this opening wrapped in a bow must pay a heavy price in November as they (the democrats) truly have cost and continue to cost America precious lives by the phony scandals. Nancy Pelosi continues to help the Chinese by her daily shameless attacks upon the President and meddling in stimulus packages as she did this last weekend. Yesterday’s statements she made were truly appalling and the lowest of low. I didn’t think she could go any lower. What a disgrace she is to our nation. 

But, Pelosi aside, make no mistake, China must and will be taught a lesson the likes they have never seen before and Trump is the man to pull the trigger. 

We the people must teach the democrats the same lesson at the polls. They (the radical wing of the party) are the enemy of a free America. I am certain of it. The entire democrat party of our forefathers is dead. Remember people, Trump indeed tried to warn us all of the Conavirus in his State of the Union Speech. He spoke of it. He said he was on top of it. 

After he spoke , Nancy Pelosi ripped up the speech calling Trumps words “a manifesto of lies”. She disgraced the country and all of our fellow honored citizens present in the House Chamber. Well she now has American blood on her hands. She is very majorly responsible for these needless deaths as well as the Chinese. Her and Adam Schiff. 

The left and democrats laughed as she tore up his speech. Well, as they laughed the disease he just spoke of in that speech came to our shores. Republicans and Democrats alike are now dying. Your family members and mine. Our grandparents and middle aged citizens alike. Bodies are being loaded in trucks with forklifts in Brooklyn outside of hospitals. No one is safe. Our liberty is for the most part suspended. As we bury our dead (without proper funerals) from this calamity let’s drive the nails into the coffin of the Democrat party as well in November.

We were all told that we had to shelter in place because we needed to flatten the curve so as not to overwhelm medical facilities. 

Well, that is now passing. 

But we are still being told to stay inside, wear masks and keep our distance.

WAIT.. if the curve is flattening, why are we still inside?  I don't mean open everything up all the way everywhere.  I am saying that somethings need to open.

Fear is causing a lot of folks to accept safe slavery as a viable option.  Others say "I'd rather have dangerous liberty than safe slavery".   As things wind down despite the fearmongering, we will find more and more saying the same thing.

This is about the loss of life from an ordinary flu season.  The old,  in-firmed and compromised are dying first.  Every soul is precious, but every soul has an end they must face.  Some who faced death and succumbed in this time were on the edge when they may or may not have become attacked by the Virus.

What has made this so much more difficult is how unknown this is.  How there is no "Cure" nor Vaccine for it.  Of course there are some efficacious treatments that are working in other parts of the world like France.  They are not yet widespread here.

The political forces arrayed against life are willing to sacrifice people in exchange for posturing.  Of course these same voices will argue that when measures are made to attempt to return society to some form of restoration, they will cry dollars over deaths.  These same are quite happy to promote abortions because having a child is "Inconvenient".

So be careful who you listen to.  Who is speaking lies and truth.  The truth is Life is for the Living.  At some point we must bury the dead and move forward.  I think the instruction is understood for being careful as we move on.  Let us measure the cost of freedom and life versus virtual martial law and confinement.

One of the most unforgettable moments in the movie Braveheart takes place after William Wallace has been betrayed, captured by his enemy Edward Longshanks, and condemned to death by torture.  His lover Princess Isabelle visits him in prison and begs Wallace to confess and pledge his allegiance to King Edward, saying, "You will die.  It will be awful."  Wallace responds, "Every man dies.  Not every man truly lives."

This should not be news to you — we're all going to die.  The only question is whether we will die soon or sometime later.  From the moment of your birth, the mortal clock began to tick, and so began the number of your days.  If we live in constant fear of death, we will die in miserable loneliness.

 In 2004, Michael Crichton had his novel State of Fear published.  The suspense-thriller portrayed "climate change" alarmists as criminals trying to induce panic among the general public in order to manipulate and control the behavior of billions of people for profit.

It is helpful to remember that according to some reports, every person who dies after being diagnosed with coronavirus is counted as a death by coronavirus, which inflates the statistics on virus deaths.  And please recall in 2018, a whopping 28,544 abortions were performed in Georgia.  Indeed, every man will die, but not everyone will be given the opportunity to live.

The bottom line is simply this: the damage to our economy isn't worth the additional risk to my own life.  Statistically speaking, I'm equally if not more likely to die in a traffic accident or of a heart attack than coronavirus.  We're all going to die sooner or later.  It's never been a question of "if," but "where," "when," and "how."

In the movie The Wrath of Khan, Mr. Spock chooses to sacrifice himself to save the crew of the USS Enterprise, telling Captain Kirk, "Logic clearly dictates that the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few."

Not being as smart or eloquent as Mr. Spock, I probably would have just said, "I'm willing to take one for the team." Quite frankly, I loathe the idea of being held hostage by a computer program that hasn't even been in the ballpark on its predictions so far.  And if I'm wrong, I'll be the one paying the price, right?

America needs to get back to work.  My personal needs are not more important than the rest of society.  Reopening the economy for the benefit of all is worth the risk I'm willing to take.

Democrats opt for blackmail over small-business money — and the media covers for them

What a deal for Democrats: They get to hold the economy for ransom, and the media blithely cover for them.

On Thursday, Senate Democrats nixed a simple but urgent request to boost cash in the emergency small business loan program Congress set up this month from $350 billion to $600 billion.

And the press proceeded to cover for them. A CNN headline, at first, correctly summed the story: “Democrats block a GOP-led funding boost for small business aid program.” The New York Times had a similar take. Minutes later, CNN moved to obscure Dem culpability with new wording: “Senate at stalemate over more COVID-19 aid.” The Times did likewise.

These left-leaning outlets don’t even care that their covering for Dems is so blatant. The Times took heat just this month for changing a headline, “Democrats Block Action” on the $2.2 trillion rescue plan, to “Partisan Divide Threatens Deal.” Yet that didn’t stop Thursday’s changeroo.

No wonder Dems are so willing to resort to blackmail: They can count on their puppets in the press never to report it that way.

Waiting On Another Kind Of Resurrection

Today is Good Friday, Sunday is Easter. These holidays will be celebrated in ways that are completely foreign to today’s Christians. But Christians will nevertheless celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus as they and the rest of the world look for a more worldly resurrection.

According to some estimates, roughly half the world is under a COVID-19 lockdown. It’s a radical step governments have chosen to stop the spread of the disease. But with every change in public policy, there are unavoidable, and often unintended consequences.Under the COVID-19 lockdowns, people are frustrated by having their freedom of movement restricted; they’ve been unable to assemble at theaters, concerts, sporting events, restaurants, and houses of worship; workers are losing jobs, some of them permanently; businesses are closing for good; and a recession might already be here.

The world isn’t dead, but it is looking for a mortal resurrection.

The war on Christianity has taken a turn tor the worse

I could post something on the war the devil is waging on Christianity every day.  How churches are being targeted.   This one is an example:

Virginia Pastor Could Spend Year in Jail for Having 16 in 300-Person Church on Palm Sunday

On Palm Sunday, the Reverend Kevin Wilson's theme of the day was how people feted Christ as a King at the beginning of the week only to have the mob recast him as a criminal by the end.

Wilson would never put himself on the same plane as his Savior, but he is beginning to understand the criminal part all too well.

Before his Palm Sunday service, a local police officer entered the Lighthouse Fellowship Church in Chincoteague Island, Va., and announced to the few assembled that they must be seated six feet apart with no more than ten people inside the 300-seat church. The officer didn't ask to see Wilson, who wasn't in the room at the time.

By the end of the service, in which 16 worshipers were widely separated in the 300-seat sanctuary, two officers wearing masks and gloves entered the church and issued a criminal citation to the pastor for defying Governor Ralph Northam's edict that where more than ten are gathered there is a crime. (Yes, that Ralph Northam.)

Lighthouse Fellowship helps keep people free of drug addiction, brokenness, mental illness, poverty, and prostitution. Many of the members do not have driver’s licenses and are dependent on the church family for rides to get food, supplies, and go to medical appointments and personal care services like haircuts. Many attendees are on limited income obtained from government assistance -- whether disability or social security, Medicare or Medicaid. The church has helped various members with electric or gas bills, rent, groceries, physical labor and transportation for moving, donating time, expertise and resources for repairing and renovating houses and travel trailers, cooking meals, helping people to apply for disability benefits, providing rides to medical appointments, clothes, and wood for stoves, fuel for cars, and cutting grass. The church also offers a blanket ministry, prayer ministry, discipleship programs, and counseling services.

It sure sounds like an essential business to me.

Locals in Wuhan, where the Chinese coronavirus pandemic originated, have heard screams coming from funeral home furnaces, and some treated in hospitals say they saw workers put living coronavirus patients in body bags.

 "One old lady was saying that they put one guy into … a body bag when he wasn’t even dead yet, and took him off to the crematorium because there was no way of saving him,” Ma told RFA.
Video of an older woman speaking anonymously to a camera began circulating on social media in February in which she said she witnessed a patient next to her at a Wuhan hospital stuffed into a body bag while still alive.

“He’s not dead, his feet and hands are still moving,” the woman says, “[They] wrapped him in a plastic body bag and zipped it up.”

IF this is true at any level, it must be made public. I don't know it if is.. but the Chinese government is brutal.

30 regulations that stymied Trump's virus response

 A wall of federal regulations has jammed the brakes on the Trump administration’s efforts to react swiftly to the coronavirus pandemic, prompting new calls for a full house cleaning of the hurdles as part of the next stimulus package now being developed in Congress.

A new list shows at least 30 rules and regulations have helped to slow or stop President Trump’s “war” on the virus, such as burdensome testing required of promising cures, and in some cases helped to spread it, such as bans on disposable bags that encourage repeated use of dirty reusable ones.

 

I have lost ALL respect for anyone who considers themselves a Liberal

I have many friends who hate Trump, who think anything he does is terrible.  They believe all sorts of lies the liberal media spins.  They believe it without a smidgen of critical thinking.

They are pitiful people.  I used to assume they actually had valid opinions about anything. I no longer do.  I consider them in large part foolish, ignorant and gullible.

I am not under the illusion Trump is the greatest thing since sliced bread. That is not true.  He has many obvious flaws.  One of them is not being suckered in easily.

I hope someday those who are blinded by hate and liberal media lies will wake up.. but if they do they will have to come back a long way to clear thinking.

IF I Were a Financial Genius, (which I am not)

I would create and offer a mutual fund right now made up of 100 companies in the USA which are radically currently undervalued, tested, proven and with tremendous growth potential after the current crisis is past.  Invite in some risk OK investors.

Boeing, GE, Tesla, Amazon, Facebook?  AND AND AND

There is huge growth potential right now.. if you have the guts.

At the same time there is a lot of money on the sidelines, all those stock sales in the recent past went somewhere.. In banks and under mattresses.  It will soon look for a home.

This will make millionaires for those who have the guts.

It's not Racism or White Privilege

As of Saturday, 70% of the 86 Chicago residents dying from the coronavirus were African Americans; the city’s population is 29% black.

The Chicago Mayor Lightfoot is in a panic.  I don't doubt the statistic.  I believe it to be true.  Yet there is implicit an accusation of racism involved.

I know people in Chicago in the Black Population.  Many are friends of mine.  The fact is some are obese, Diabetic, sedentary, high blood pressure, poor eating habits and not really taking care of themselves.   Plus a fair portion ignore advice regarding keeping your distance.

I heard and know the arguments.  No local good food markets.  No local good health care facilities.  No good way to get around. No good housing.  All true.  It's not racism, it is geographic demographics.

Yet the truth is of all the deaths in Chicago among the black population, I would be interested to know what percent of them were compromised by what is mentioned above.

It is all convenient to blame others, make people feel like victims, imply racism, white privilege but a peek in the mirror and a look in the fridge might answer a lot of questions.

To be fair, many people in this population are workers as Nurses and other health care workers.  They are carrying this into the community.  The idea of making this a racial argument is terrible.

Many people are able to escape this mess..  but for some reason they don't.

Tragic.

I am not convinced it will run the full course.  At some point the virus exhausts from a lack of vulnerable hosts and victims.  Yet, this is serious and needs to be understood by Mathematics.

Our rights are eroded by crisis

There was a time when you could walk on any commercial airliner without restraint. If you were ticketed, they directed you where  to go.  No molestation.  Nothing.

I recall once running to a Northwest Flight to Winnipeg Manitoba.  I bought the ticket and ran to the plane.  This was in the late 60s early 70s.  Flying was easy then.

However after that several Hijackings took place.  This meant metal detectors to get to the gate.  But the whole family could gather there.  The last one of significance was in 1989 over Lockerbie Scotland, Pan Am 103.  Then security was increased a great deal at airports around the world.  Most Hijackings pretty much stopped, but freedom to fly was much changed.

The world changed and not for the better.  This was the case and it worked pretty well until 9-11.  The planes hijacked and used as weapons in New York City and at the Pentagon meant we are missing something.  Even though the vast majority of these events of hijacking and 9-11 were caused by Radical Muslim Terrorists, we have all been stripped of more rights.  Now flying is a pain.  TSA.  One dope tried to light his shoe on fire… and so.. now we walk barefoot in Airports.  It has become very hard to fly  and it’s changed the whole atmosphere. 

Homeland Security, the patriot act and TSA and a dozen other useless bureaucracies now rule us by default. 

So as we look at the world to come after the Corona 19 pandemic, how many MORE of our fundamental constitutional rights will be stripped away. TOO MANY.

I am going to suggest that we stop trying to live in a perfectly safe world.  Freedom is not free if we live virtual prison life.  It is high time to stop being worried about every little thing.

Safety First is a misnomer.  It should be Safety THIRD.  It should be Freedom First. 

I know we are about to change.. but we don’t have to change for the sake of change.

I have always admired Marco Rubio.  I was not happy when during the primary of 2016 that Trump called him "Little Marco".  

Don't get me wrong.  Trump is the right man for this time.  Someday we will need more sober leadership in the White House.  So while many have Kushner or Pence in 2024 (either Kushner)  I can't help but think Rubio might be our man. 

It's a long time off.. but watch this space.  My gut is often right and years ago I said I thought he would be POTUS someday.

He is the head of the SBA oversight committee and doing a good job.

Everyone Jumps Off Bridge After New Government Order Telling Everyone To Jump Off Bridge

After state governments across the country directed their citizens to shut down their businesses and just kinda hope things worked out, a new order has been issued: everyone is to jump off a bridge immediately.

A government official issued the order to solve our current crisis, and everyone immediately complied.

"Everyone jump off a bridge," said a representative of the government.

"OK," said everyone. "If the government says so, it's probably a good idea. Besides, what can we do? It's the government. They definitely have the best people working on it."

The directive was designed to end coronavirus. Medical experts believe it's the best, most effective way to stop the virus. Assuming everyone follows through and obeys the order, coronavirus will be wiped out, according to officials. There are no bad side effects, as far as anyone can tell. A few people pointed out that jumping off a bridge could kill everyone, but these people are anti-science and obviously hate their neighbors.

No One Here Gets Out Alive

The article linked below is good.  I stirred a thought.  We are in the USA like we are all on a train.  A train rushing toward some eventual end.  Till a couple months ago the ride was pretty good.  We enjoyed the ride such as it was.  A bit bumpy sometimes but for the most part a great ride.

Then some of the passengers, some more than usual were put off the train because they died.  Some  early.  Every day on the train some didn't make it.  It was understood by all the passengers on the train that no one will get off the train alive.  There was no choice.  It just when your stop came and you were removed your ride was over.

For some it was tragic if they had to leave the train too soon.  Some who had been on the train a long time and could cope with the rough tracks and bumpy ride from time to time finally ended the ride.  Maybe a bit earlier than normal, but the end came.

When several of the passengers were told that they potentially would be taken off the train early because of some malady spreading thru the train cars, the conductors took it into their hands to try to change the ultimate destination of every rider.  STAY IN YOUR SEATS, DON'T BREATH ON EACH OTHER, STAY APART, ONLY ONE PERSON TO THE TOILET AT A TIME AND FOR GOODNESS SAKES BE VERY VERY CAREFUL.  The fear and terror in their mantra scared everyone into submission.

This announcement was made over and over and over again.  The number of people being offloaded after dying was increasing some.. but not with levels that should impose the level of terror being postulated.

Before the commands to stay in your seat, there was a dining car, nice.  There was a bar car with music and dancing. There was a car for teaching the young ones.  There was a car where they showed movies.  There was a gift shop car.  There was a car where you could simply look at the passing scenery on your trip to together forever.

All that stopped. 

Eventually someone asked the important question, it grew in intensity.  IF no one here gets out alive, why are we all dying slowly in our seats covered and apart? 

It's a question we need to ask.
