Look at these vote totals from last night. The fractured evangelical and conservative vote cost my boy Huck to fail. That’s right, I’m blaming everyone else. It’s the American way.
Read em and weep:
Florida Republican Primary Results
Candidate Votes %
John McCain 693,425 36%
Mitt Romney 598,152 31%
Rudy Giuliani 281,755 15%
Mike Huckabee 259,703 13%
Ron Paul 62,060 3%
Fred Thompson 22,287 1%
Alan Keyes 4,003 0%
Duncan Hunter 2,787 0%
Tom Tancredo 1,556 0%
Precincts: 99% | Updated: 8:44 AM ET | Source: AP
See there, If all the Thompson, Keys, Hunter and Tancredo voters would have just cast their votes for Huck We’d a won that coveted third place.
On the upside, I got an email from Huck this morning. I’m on his list. He’s not despairing. He raised a Million two in the last 7 days.
I’m hoping for a loaves and fishes miracle here.
Or Lazarus.
SMILE!

I know you want to know what I think about FL. (j/k)
I think this is an interesting stat. In a closed election where FL r’s can only vote for r’s and Fl d’s can only vote for d’s:
John McCain 693,425
Hillary Clinton 856,944
Not that she is my first choice – but FL for Hillary? OK OK it’s just a primary. I know.
Also in a primary where dem delegates are not gonna get seated (ya right) …as I count it the dems got 1,683,984 votes, the repubs got 1,226,744 votes. Will FL go true blue? Lucky for us we only have about 36 weeks to find out. Gezzzzzzz its gone be a long long road.
All in all it was a great day for democracy.
