If you look at my Blogger profile you will see that one of my favorite movies of all time was Clockwork Orange. For a christian? Violence. Sex. Nudity?
OK, it's a little rough. I wouldn't want anyone to watch it with anyone less than about 30 and never in mixed company. It's that rough.
But, if you look past all that, it has great beauty in the creative language and the parody of failed social engineering that we see all around us today in the world. Clockwork Orange is part of why I am a social conservative. It demonstrates the bankruptcy of liberalism and it's degradation.
But that's another topic. This week Obama played a Droog. He was telling people to not take defeat lying down. To get in people's faces. And they are a mob of maniacs when WGN tries to put anyone on who counters the Obamaphenoma. Plus this last weekend, Obamachenine screamed and yelled at older Americans. Like in Clockwork Orange only without the kicking.
Iowahawk hasn't missed this comparison. You have to read this parody of Clockwork Orange starring Barack Obama. It's very well done.
And, if you aren't afraid of becoming a conservative, rent Clockwork Orange. Shut your eyes in the nude scenes and then ask the question, is this where we are headed or are we already there?
