The sun and Son still Shines

I'm not happy with last night's results. That much is clear.

I don't think this is a good thing. I wasn't thrilled or blown away by the crowds full of adulation and tears. I think it's very unhealthy, raw hero worship. Happened 90 years ago in Europe.

I didn't cry. He, Obama, is going to be President. He, Obama, deserves honor and respect for his position. I will give it. I will holler like mad when he proposes or does something stupid which I expect very soon.

The anal examination GWB received for every one of his actions is now going to be focused on him. I hope he does well. I fear he will not. I fear he will rival the worst President this country ever had, James Earl Carter. His lack of experience bodes badly for him.

And there's that pesky congress. They don't want change. They want power. Even if Obama had the kohones to try to implement change, they will try to stop him. I remember Newt Gingrich telling Bill Clinton in 1995 after the Republican Majority in both houses took over, "You are Irrelevant". He wasn't. It was terribly arrogant of Newt.

We still have 3 branches of Government.

But, I expect the same treatment of Obama. Bullies from the left.

There is much more to say about all this. I will defer.

Obama won,

Lots of others lost: The Unborn, Justice in the courts, the integrity of our voting system, any semblance of a fair news media, taxpayers, laws regarding illegal contributions, Free Speech.

Obama Won and so did Racisim.

Martin Luther King said that he hoped for the day when a man can be judged by the quality of his character and not the color of his skin.

Black Voters across America voted the color of Obamas skin.

Votes based on race = Racism.

Jerry and the Pacemakers sang a song a very long time ago. It applies here to me.

Don't let the sun catch you crying
The night's the time for all your tears
Your heart may be broken tonight
But tomorrow in the morning light
Don't let the sun catch you crying

The nighttime shadows disappear
And with that go all your tears, baby
For the morning will bring joy
For every girl and boy
Don't don't don't don't let the sun catch you crying
Oooo baby

You know that crying's not a bad thing
But stop your crying when the birds sing
Oh no no no

Oh yeah
Oooo oooo

Just don't forget that love's just a game
And it can always come again
So don't let the sun catch you crying
Don't let the sun catch you crying, baby

Tomorrow in the morning light
Everything gonna be all right
Tomorrow in the morning light
Everything gonna be all right
Tomorrow in the morning light
Everything gonna be all right

And when the strife is fierce, the warfare long, Steals on the ear the distant triumph song, And hearts are brave again and arms are strong. Alleluia!
But then there breaks a yet more glorious day; The saints triumphant rise in bright array; The King of Glory passes on His way. Alleluia!

I do not understand how a prophet can submit to a man who is as evil as you have said Obama is.

Have you thought about migration to New Zealand. Flower grow well here.

"Black Voters across America voted the color of Obamas skin."
This, dear Gene, is bullshit. Because people are celebrating the victory as a victory of civil rights is a separate issue. People voted for Obama because they want the things he promises. They would have voted for Hillary Clinton for the same reason. Or John Edwards. This vote was NOT about racism. You are wrong. There may have been a tiny tiny percentage who did vote for him because of his race, but that tiny percentage was FAR LESS I am guessing than the number who voted AGAINST him due to it. No, Gene, face it, nearly all the people who voted for his voted for him because of what he stands for and promises. It had NOTHING to do with race. At all.
And the fact that the voting had nothing to do iwth race is EXACTLY why it was n historic moment. It was a victory for people of color and any person with any difference from the norm. Fat people. Bald people. It means we have come far enough in color blindness and difference blindness to vote for ideas and proposals and NOT gender or race or other superficial characteristics. Do not confuse the after the fact celebration of the lack of racism for ANY sort of proof of voting racism.
There is a subtley to this that WILL escape some people, but you are smart enough to understand the difference. It was a racial voctory because it was NOT a racial vote. Please celebrate that fact with us instead of tearing it down.
