If the church always practiced the separation of church and state then Dr King would have been silent regarding racial injustice - the civil rights movement , the abolitionist movement and the American Revolution in 1776 would have never taken place and we would presently be using the English pound - under the rule of British Parliament as an English CommonWealth ,with the economy driven by African Slavery and or still segregated along the lines of Jim Crow laws in the South
