The Chicago Sun-Times has an editorial in which it endorses Republican Bruce Rauner for Governor. In their editorial they condemn the Illinois Democrat party:
Let’s be blunt. Springfield is an embarrassment. Democracy is on lockdown. State government is the plaything of union bosses, lobbyists and, above all, Mike Madigan. The speaker of the House, who also controls the state Democratic Party, is the most powerful elected official in Illinois, not the governor.
EDITORIAL: Bruce Rauner can’t wait to get Illinois moving again, for the benefit of each and every one of us.
