People are Busy Dying

I read this post on a Blog.

It struck me, I hope you read it.  In the Christmas Carol there is a line after Scrooge is Dead, "He died a rich man and never enjoyed his money.  He never so much as traveled, stayed warm or ate well".

This is tragic but it's still going on.  People have a money script.  They believe things about money that puts them in bondage.  Here's a good Article on the Money Scripts that keep us poor in life.

Scrooge had a money script:

• You can't trust anyone with your money.
• People only want you for your money.
• You must work hard for money.
• You can never have enough money.
• Don't spend money on yourself or others.
• Money will give you meaning in life.
• The more money you have, the happier you will be.
• You can never be happy if you are poor.
• Giving to the poor encourages laziness.
• If you had more money, things would be better.

The person who has money but won't use it to enjoy himself is just as poor as the person who doesn't have money and still is unable to enjoy the benifits of it.

You are a long time dead.  You could be dead in a year.  Find a way to enjoy life before the day this becomes your view of the world.  Your last look up before the dirt starts to fall.  There is much to see in the world.  GO.  NOW!!

Read and Heed

One of my mentors once said this to me - "If you went shopping with your children and told them to behave and do not touch the food in the produce aisle, their thoughts are on not touching the food, and human nature leads immature and rebellious children to do the very thing they are told not to do."
In the same way, signs that say keep off the grass, invite some to walk on the grass, or signs that say Do Not Enter - it invites immature and rebellious people to enter.
Even God Himself gave us the Ten Commandments knowing they would be broken by mankind - so that we would realize we could never keep them and see our need for a Savior.
Having a Gun Free Zone is like that. It will not bring lawfulness but rather, invites more unlawfulness. Just because Umpqua CC was not a gun free zone does not mean it needs to be one.

Just Shut Up

The only people that don't realize that he's the laughing stock of the world are Liberals and homosexuals.

*Sociology corner*: The africanamerican is profoundly, no, pathologically effected by a need for personal, and group respect AND acceptance (note: the reason for so much violent person to person crime, and bad police encounters). So be nice for the next week (extent of any liberal attention span) since what Obama has turned out to mean for them is surely, totally devastating to the africanamerican psyche. Just ignore, the usual denial, racial bunkerism, and "Bush was worst" rhetoric in response to the truth. Its all just really about pain.

Mediocrity= potential without consistency!

The day that turns YOUR life around is the day you realize you have a CHOICE in YOUR quality of life!

One of the most excellent pursuits a believer can undertake is developing a healthy and stable SOUL!

Talent without discipline leads to frustration!!

Shakespeare was Right

Getting older is heck.  I have been struggling with a tooth deal for a week now.  It's not healed up.. but I'm hoping.

There is a widely quoted passage from a monologue in William Shakespeare's As You Like It, spoken by the melancholy Jaques in Act II Scene VII It is often quoted as the seven ages of Mankind.  The last line is the most painful.

All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely players;
They have their exits and their entrances,
And one man in his time plays many parts,
His acts being seven ages.

At first the infant,
Mewling and puking in the nurse's arms.

Then, the whining school-boy with his satchel
And shining morning face, creeping like snail
Unwillingly to school.

And then the lover,
Sighing like furnace, with a woeful ballad
Made to his mistress' eyebrow.

Then, a soldier,
Full of strange oaths, and bearded like the pard,
Jealous in honour, sudden, and quick in quarrel,
Seeking the bubble reputation
Even in the cannon's mouth.

And then, the justice,
In fair round belly, with a good capon lined,
With eyes severe, and beard of formal cut,
Full of wise saws, and modern instances,
And so he plays his part.

The sixth age shifts
Into the lean and slippered pantaloon,
With spectacles on nose and pouch on side,
His youthful hose, well saved, a world too wide
For his shrunk shank, and his big manly voice,
Turning again toward childish treble, pipes
And whistles in his sound.

Last scene of all,
That ends this strange eventful history,
Is second childishness and mere oblivion,
Sans teeth, sans eyes, sans taste, sans everything.

I hope I can stay in Round Belly phase for a while

Migration changing economy of U.S. South

STEPHEN MOORE: Migration changing economy of U.S. South - Washington Times

Migration is changing the economic center of gravity to the South

The so-called “progressives” love to talk about how their policies
will create a worker’s paradise, but then why is it that day after day,
month after month, year after year, people are fleeing liberal blue
states for conservative red states?

The new Census data on where
we live and where we moved to in 2014 shows that the top seven states
with the biggest percentage increase in in-migration from other states
are in order: North Dakota, Nevada, South Carolina, Colorado, Florida,
Arizona, and Texas. All of these states are red, except Colorado, which
is purple.

Meanwhile the leading
exodus states of the continental states in percentage terms were:
Alaska, New York, Illinois, Connecticut, New Mexico, New Jersey, and
Kansas. All of these states are blue, except Alaska and Kansas.

The
latest Rich States, Poor States document (which I co-author) published
by ALEC, the state legislative organization, finds that nearly 1,000
people each day on net are leaving blue states and entering red states.
This migration is changing the economic center of gravity in America —
moving it relentlessly to the South and West.

I really miss seeing these

Socialist Pope

I just read the whole transcript. It's all social engineering and social justice. But there are 3 things missing in his talk that I wondered about.
1. IS there not a force for evil that is killing and beheading Christians in the Middle East? Did he miss the memo?
2. Is the Catholic Church still pro life regarding Abortion? I heard about capital punishment.. but isn't abortion and murder in Iraq capital?
3. He is supposedly the VICAR of CHRIST who's name he never mentioned. No JESUS.. What is up with that?
Color me very unimpressed and do we really need the Pope to under-gird the functional agnostic post modern secular humanist in the white house?
WASHINGTON -- On Thursday, Pope Francis became the first pontiff to address Congress on Capitol Hill. Here is a transcript of his speech: Dear Friends, I am...

An observation by George Carlin:

George Carlin's wife died early in 2008 and George followed her, dying in July 2008. It is ironic George Carlin - comedian of the 70's and 80's - could write something so very eloquent and so very appropriate. An observation by George Carlin:

The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings but shorter tempers, wider Freeways, but narrower viewpoints. We spend more, but have less, we buy more, but enjoy less. We have bigger houses and smaller families, more conveniences, but less time. We have more degrees but less sense, more knowledge, but less judgment, more experts, yet more problems, more medicine, but less wellness.

We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too little, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom.

We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values. We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often.

We've learned how to make a living, but not a life. We've added years to life not life to years. We've been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet a new neighbor. We conquered outer space but not inner space. We've done larger things, but not better things.

We've cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul. We've conquered the atom, but not our prejudice. We write more, but learn less. We plan more, but accomplish less. We've learned to rush, but not to wait. We build more computers to hold more information, to produce more copies than ever, but we communicate less and less.

These are the times of fast foods and slow digestion, big men and small character, steep profits and shallow relationships. These are the days of two incomes but more divorce, fancier houses, but broken homes. These are days of quick trips, disposable diapers, throwaway morality, one night stands, overweight bodies, and pills that do everything from cheer, to quiet, to kill. It is a time when there is much in the showroom window and nothing in the stockroom. A time when technology can bring this letter to you, and a time when you can choose either to share this insight, or to just hit delete.

Remember to spend some time with your loved ones, because they are not going to be around forever.

Remember, say a kind word to someone who looks up to you in awe, because that little person soon will grow up and leave your side.

Remember, to give a warm hug to the one next to you, because that is the only treasure you can give with your heart and it doesn't cost a cent.

Remember, to say, 'I love you' to your partner and your loved ones, but most of all mean it. A kiss and an embrace will mend hurt when it comes from deep inside of you.

Remember to hold hands and cherish the moment for someday that person will not be there again.

Give time to love, give time to speak! And give time to share the precious thoughts in your mind.

And always remember, life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by those moments that take our breath away.

George Carlin

Pope Dope

The poorer a country is .......the more poverty you will have in that country. And the more expensive you make energy.....the more poverty you will produce in a nation. Please consider that reality, Pope Francis, before you punish us and all poor people for something (climate change) that has not even been proven. It is capitalism that produces jobs for people in free societies Pope Francis. Would you rather that governments control the economies of the world??? Look at the economies of the former Soviet Union, China, Venezuela, Cuba, for examples of economies that not only don't work......but they enslave or enslaved their people. So which works out better Pope Francis??? A free enterprise economy allows upward economic mobility of all of its members. A totalitarian government does not allow for people to prosper economically. Totalitarian regimes take away civil liberties so that no one can prosper economically. And that is the purpose of those governments ....to control peoples initiatives and so their abilities to prosper as a result of their contributions to the society in which they live.
Pope Francis suggests that capitalism worsens poverty, encourages vice, and creates suffering, but he's wrong on every count.

Obama is not a Christian, he is a post modern Agnostic

“Is Obama a Muslim? The answer is no. But what is he then? Is Obama a Christian, as Jeb Bush asserted in an attempt to make Trump look bad after Thursday’s dustup? Not a chance. Obama is about as pure a post-modern agnostic as you can find. He’s about as Christian as your average gender studies professor at Swarthmore. Religion is for the president a convenience, an instrument of power.” Like everything else.
Plus:

So Obama is neither Muslim nor Christian, but that is an entirely incomplete view of his belief system. Something is going on in an emotional sense that trumps (excuse the phrase) conventional religious belief. He seems almost always to side with Islamic society against Christendom, bending over backwards on occasion to set up false equivalences. At the very moment the Islamic State was lopping off the heads of Christians and Yazidis in Libya, Syria and Iraq, he invoked the Crusades at a National Prayer Breakfast as if this behavior from centuries ago were even marginally equivalent. Unlike other major world leaders, he didn’t bother to attend the Charlie Hebdo massacre memorial in Paris. He couldn’t even say the Islamic terrorists who shot the people in the Paris kosher deli the day after did so because the victims were Jews. And then there’s the Iran deal, the giveaway of the century ($150 billion) to an Islamic state building nuclear weapons and intercontinental missiles, not to mention sponsoring terrorism across the world, for absolutely no verifiable quid pro quo.

Who would do such a thing? Well, Barack Obama obviously.

The Post-Obama America

Obama has only fifteen months remaining in the White House, and
stopping implementation of some of his most harmful measures by refusing
to fund their implementation is the best, and only, response to a
President who proceeds as if he is the sole branch of government.

For America to work again, Congress has to work the way it was
intended, and that means reasserting their prerogatives.  Whether that
be through insisting that the treaty ratification process be followed,
or by setting the nation’s spending priorities in very specific ways to
stop Obama’s executive overreach, the next three weeks will be
instrumental in determining if the leaders of the legislative branch
will fight to swing the balance of power back toward the vision upon
which our nation was founded.

Stay tuned, while the “fights” in Congress may seem like spinning
wheels, in the end, they have real meaning for post-Obama America. The Post-Obama America

The War isn't Coming, it's HERE!

We are entering a war for the survival of America. Back in the day
issues would rise up, and America would address them. Like the riots of
the sixties. One issue, civil rights. Even WWII was one issue. It’s
different now. Then entire world seems to have decided our day has come
and gone, and those with agendas think they have a better idea. There
are new enemies. The funny people that we used to laugh at in Bob Hope
movies are now killing pretty girls and leaving their bodies dashed on
the rocks. Mexicans who once slipped over the border to pick oranges
suddenly have become a political force. Martin Luther King has been
replaced by raving maniacs who want to kill everything lighter than
them.

There are two kinds of people in this world. Those who will ignore a
lump in the middle of their forehead, and those who take action. Let’s
do some math. Most people in this country, well at least 51%, just want
to live, work, and retire. We hire people like politicians, police, and
doctors to see after things that we can’t while we work those jobs and
fund everything. We are NOT sheep, NOT fools, and NOT stupid. We built
cars, buildings, raised wheat, cows, and our kids, and didn’t care which
direction some camel jockey prayed to. When a national threat came we
drafted our young men, and they went OVER THERE and shot them folks up,
and then came home to build more cars, buildings, and grow more wheat.
And the world hated us for it.

Europe is nothing but a bunch of weak, stupid, liberal girly-men who
shoot their mouths off until a real man (like Hitler) comes along and
bytch-slaps them back to reality. While they were poking fun at us the
refugee invasion just walked in and took command. Hitler would be
spinning in his grave, if he had one. He’d think, “Shucks, I wasted all
those bullets? All I had to do was tell the German people to just walk
across the Polish border and move in!” Europe is getting exactly what it
deserves. They devalued their currency with the Euro, nullified their
government, refused to fully support us in any war, except the ones
where THEIR arses were on the line, married homosexuals, smoked dope,
and now they stand back in snake amazement as a bunch of illiterate
religions nuts take over their streets. I’m a simple old boy from
Austin, not a STUPID old boy from Austin!

Teen Dies Of Alcohol Poisoning After Parents Try To Teach Him A Very Bad Lesson About Drinking

alcohol and sigaretteMost likely none of us want our kids to start smoking, or drinking before they are old enough, but keeping a teenager from doing either of those things is pretty difficult. When it comes to smoking, there’s a famous and folksy old “tough love” punishment where parents who catch their kids smoking force the kid to finish smoking the whole pack, in the hopes that the kid will feel terribly sick and associate smoking with awful nausea and will never want to smoke again. That doesn’t exactly sound like a great idea, but some parents try it anyway. When it comes to alcohol, however, that is a wildly inappropriate and dangerous thing to do, and now one set of parents is facing charges after their teenage son died of alcohol poisoning after they tried to “teach him a lesson.”
According to Yahoo Parenting, 16-year-old Kendal Balls died of alcohol poisoning in early July after drinking with his stepfather. Balls’ mother, Paulette Richardson, says they gave Kendal a few shots of Fireball whiskey and a few shots of Jack Daniels over the course of about two hours, and that they were hoping he would get a bad hangover that would “teach him a lesson” about alcohol and inspire him to stay away from it. The Richardsons say Balls’ biological father is an alcoholic and they were worried that he would take after him and were just trying to help. But however much alcohol Balls consumed was enough to kill him.

Balls’ stepfather, Joseph Richardson, says Balls went to bed around 10:30 p.m., and he went to check on him at 3:45 a.m. and found him unresponsive. The Richardsons called 911, but their son died, and a coroner’s report found that his blood alcohol level was 0.587, which is more than seven times the legal limit for an adult in Wyoming.

This is a tragic, awful story and a terrible, irresponsible act of idiocy on the part of the parents. Everyone knows that too much alcohol can kill a person, and a bad hangover never stopped anyone from drinking anyway.

The Richardsons have been arrested and charged with involuntary manslaughter for the death of their son. They face up to 20 years in prison if convicted.

Today's Tax-Free Pot Day in Colorado

Tokers can thank quirky state tax law for their good fortune

By Newser Editors,  Newser Staff

(Newser) – They knew this day was coming, and now it's here. It's tax-free cannabis day in Colorado, where due to a quirk in the state's tax law, buyers of recreational marijuana will be relieved of most taxes on their purchase, the AP reports. The one-day "holiday" means Colorado won't collect 10% sales tax on pot, and it will also suspend a 15% excise tax on marijuana growers. The tax break is happening because Colorado underestimated overall state tax collections last year, which means automatic suspension of any new taxes—in this case, the recreational marijuana taxes voters approved in 2013.
Retailers are hoping for big crowds today, though the state had no estimate on how many shoppers might turn out. "Our hopes are high, and we're going to push as hard as we can to see as many customers as we can," the owner of two Denver dispensaries tells 7News Denver. The taxes revert to 25% tomorrow, the AP notes. (Don't go too crazy, weed fans: Smoking too much may be linked to prediabetes.)

I'm a sympathetic fella but only offer a small warning, beware the Trojan Horse of Al Hijra.

White House just announced it will seek to accept 10,000 refugees from Syria. Just a numbers check, between 2008-2013 America accepted 115,617 refugees from the Middle East, 10,026 have been granted asylum. Of that overall number 90% are on food stamps and 70% are on cash welfare. Yet, as we have reported, Christians fleeing ISIS and the deplorable situation in the Middle East are being denied entry into America.

This is our America? Christians get bullied and mocked on 'network TV'.

Over the Labor Day weekend, Candace Cameron-Bure took to social media to ask her fans for support and prayers. This won’t be easy for her — but it will be worth...

OBAMA WEIGHED

There are many things good about President Obama.  I think he is sincere in his warped view of the world.

He certainly loves his wife and children.

He loves to have a good time and can yuck it up. He can be very funny.

He Broke the Color Barrier for a black President.. it may be a while till the next.. but he did break it.

He demonstrates real humanity sometimes.  Not often enough in my opinion, but he is able to do so.

When the Nation needed a dose of HOPE and CHANGE no matter how it came out he was there to build the belief that things could be better.  Right man at the right time.

He has been pretty much an extension of George W Bush's Presidency.  He didn't make a lot of radical moves quickly and he has been gracious not to directly criticize GWB.. even when he could have.

He has been quick to point to police abuses, there are some and they need to be pointed out.

So there is much to like and admire about him.  YET there is the other side of the scale, the one that his supporters never seem to see or understand.  He is a deeply flawed egotistical narcissist.  Not unlike Donald Trump.  For that reason, he continues to make mistakes that are profoundly damaging to the nation and the world.

His whole middle east demeanor, encouraging Arab Spring, helping to take out Ghadaffi in Libya leading to the Benghazi affair.

Allowing the EPA and it's global warming insanity to run unchecked.  They are economic terrorists.

Amplifying the race issues in this nation where we are now so divided, worse than in 40 years, and he blames everyone but himself.

Announcing withdrawals from Iraq and Afghanistan which expanded the war, created an international crisis and encouraged the rise of ISIS while he has tried to arm them against Assad Syria.  All the while NOT supporting our only real ally there, the Kurds.  He is unique in always picking the wrong side.  His lack of support for the current Egyptian government is weird.

His economic policies have been catastrophic for the nation. He is an unsure hand.  He doesn't have advisers who know what they are doing.

He has been suckered in negotiations again and again and again. He seems to be unique in his incompetence and lack of will.  The international stage thinks he is a fool.  Russia has no respect for him at all.  He is a guppy for every wave that goes by.

His lack of faith in free enterprise wrapped up in his deluded "You didn't build that" mantra.

All this blundering while he champions Islam in America, Homosex marriage, Queers in the Military, Abortion by the dead baby sellers and using the IRS to crush dissent, free speech and religious freedom.  His Justice department is entering the KY County Clerk Fiasco.  He is on the wrong side of almost everything.

He was inexperienced when he took office.  We all understood this was going to be On the Job training since his whole life he had never had a real job and he was raised in a sheltered environment.  His competence has not much improved.  He's not a quick learner.

His legacy after being weighed will be rough on him.  Real history will treat his time in office ultimately NEGATIVE for the catastrophe it has been. Oh, we'll survive him, I don't know if we can survive the fools that voted for him.. twice.  The fact that they are still allowed to vote puts our nation at risk.

Sorry for the S word.. but it's true..

Judas Asparagus

If you need a laugh today, then this should do it!

A child was asked to write a book report on the entire Bible.
This is amazing and brought tears of laughter to my eyes. I wonder how often we take for granted that children understand what we are teaching???

Through the eyes of a child:

The Children's Bible in a Nutshell

In the beginning, which occurred near the start, there was nothing but God, darkness, and some gas. The Bible says, 'The Lord thy God is one, but I think He must be a lot older than that.

Anyway, God said, 'Give me a light!' and someone did. Then God made the world.
He split the Adam and made Eve. Adam and Eve were naked, but they weren't embarrassed because mirrors hadn't been invented yet.

Adam and Eve disobeyed God by eating one bad apple, so they were driven from the Garden of Eden.....Not sure what they were driven in though, because they didn't have cars.

Adam and Eve had a son, Cain, who hated his brother as long as he was Abel.

Pretty soon all of the early people died off, except for Methuselah, who lived to be like a million or something.

One of the next important people was Noah, who was a good guy, but one of his kids was kind of a Ham. Noah built a large boat and put his family and some animals on it. He asked some other people to join him, but they said they would have to take a rain check.

After Noah came Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Jacob was more famous than his brother, Esau, because Esau sold Jacob his birthmark in exchange for some pot roast. Jacob had a son named Joseph who wore a really loud sports coat.

Another important Bible guy is Moses, whose real name was Charlton Heston. Moses led the Israel Lights out of Egypt and away from the evil Pharaoh after God sent ten plagues on Pharaoh's people. These plagues included frogs, mice, lice, bowels, and no cable.

God fed the Israel Lights every day with manicotti. Then he gave them His Top Ten Commandments.
These include: don't lie, cheat, smoke, dance, or covet your neighbor's stuff.
Oh, yeah, I just thought of one more: Humor thy father and thy mother.

One of Moses' best helpers was Joshua who was the first Bible guy to use spies. Joshua fought the battle of Geritol and the fence fell over on the town.

After Joshua came David. He got to be king by killing a giant with a slingshot. He had a son named Solomon who had about 300 wives and 500 porcupines. My teacher says he was wise, but that doesn't sound very wise to me.

After Solomon there were a bunch of major league prophets. One of these was Jonah, who was swallowed by a big whale and then barfed up on the shore.

There were also some minor league prophets, but I guess we don't have to worry about them.
After the Old Testament came the New Testament. Jesus is the star of The New. He was born in Bethlehem in a barn. (I wish I had been born in a barn too, because my mom is always saying to me, 'Close the door! Were you born in a barn?' It would be nice to say, 'As a matter of fact, I was.')

During His life, Jesus had many arguments with sinners like the Pharisees and the Democrats.
Jesus also had twelve opossums. The worst one was Judas Asparagus. Judas was so evil that they named a terrible vegetable after him.

Jesus was a great man. He healed many leopards and even preached to some Germans on the Mount.

But the Democrats and all those guys put Jesus on trial before Pontius the Pilot. Pilot didn't stick up for Jesus. He just washed his hands instead.

Anyways, Jesus died for our sins, then came back to life again. He went up to Heaven but will be back at the end of the Aluminum.

His return is foretold in the book of Revolution.

The End!

Never Releasing Kills

Parents of Adult Children can be of huge disservice to them and end up killing them

  • Not Releasing them
  • Over Protecting them
  • Not allowing them huge mistakes
  • By enabling bad behaviors (SLOTH, Gluttony etc)
  • Covering and shielding from bad outcomes
  • Allowing them to stay at home beyond what should be normative (23-25)
  • Offering Advice when Not Asked For

Your job as a parent is to raise your kids the best you know how and then get out of the way. Let them stumble, fall, skin their knee, fail, get to the end of themselves. Stay out of their lives. Don't enable them. If they get into trouble, let them figure it out.

There are too many 40 somethings living at home not paying rent doing nothing but play video games all day or watch TV because dad and mom worry they wouldn't make it "out there". I have been a gardener most of my life and I know a nurtured fed and hothouse plant will die a quick death when taken into the real world under the sun and heat. Yet if that plant is allowed to undergo drought, cold, sun and moved carefully in a few months it can stand with it's fellow plants to endure the tough times.

I asked Parents recently who had a 40 something living rent free, not even contributing to the household expenses, "What is going to happen when you die?". They are much older than average. They won't be around long. Answer?? "I guess he will have to get a job and find a place to live". Then I said, "you are both gonna be dead in ten years.. and he will be on the streets worthless at 55 years old. You are a curse on his life". He will starve in the streets or be killed.

Parents, do you love your adult children enough to allow them to become adults??

Kris Vallotton on Kim Davis

Kim Davis, the Kentucky clerk, refused to issue marriage licenses to homosexuals. She choose to be jailed instead.

I admire people willing to go to jail for what they believe. Martin Luther King Jr went to prison for his convictions and later gave his life for them. But his sacrifice resulted in freedom for the African American people.

Religious freedom is being threatened in our country under the guise of gay prejudice. I am sorry, but whether you believe homosexuality is right or wrong, it is not an ethic group. Nor is there ANY evidence that it is genetically predetermined; it's a behavior, which many (including myself) believe is immoral.

Let me make it clear, homosexuality is no worse than adultery, pornography, fornication, pedophilia or any other immoral behavior, but it's no better, either.

So what's the big deal? The big deal is that nobody is trying to force Christians, Muslims, etc. to embrace any other immoral act as normal, healthy or okay.

America is about to wake the sleeping giant. She will fill every prison and every jail in this country with people with strong moral convictions. They will refuse to give up their right to decide their own moral convictions. Neither will they violate their conscience for the sake of their government.

Our country was founded on the foundation of religious freedom. It is guaranteed by our constitution.

You might not be religious, and I respect that, but our founding fathers were. If you are living in America, you need to know that it is "One Nation, Under God" (not gods). It's in this context that there is "liberty and justice for all." That's right, Christians gave you the right to choose!

When you take away a Believers right to live out their convictions, you are attacking the very foundations on which our country was established.

When our founding fathers separated church and state, they were not trying to keep the church out of the state! (Every American founding document has God embedded in it). They were trying to keep the state out of the church. Remember, we won our freedom from the British, whose government controlled their churches (not the other way around).

When state mandates undermine religious freedom, the separation of church and state has been violated in a way that our constitution was mean to prevent!

This isn't just about morality; it's about freedom of religion.

If you are "gay" in this county, you need to remember that it was the Christian value for freewill that gave you the right to behave as you choose.

There are no "gay rights" in communist China, homosexual is illegal in Russia, and in every Muslim nation in the world!

But in this nation, we believe in freedom; but one person's freedom must not imprison another person freewill, especially the freedom to practice their God given convictions as they see fit.

David Barton on the Jailing of Kim Davis.. very interesting reading

Perhaps the single most important issue in the Kim Davis situation (the County Clerk in Rowan County, Kentucky, who was jailed for refusing to issue same-sex marriage licenses) -- an issue about which most observers and commentators have been completely silent -- is the flagrant violation of the constitutionally-mandated separation of powers.

By way of background, Federal Judge David Bunning ruled that Davis was in contempt of court, which a court can legitimately do. But he then ordered federal marshals enforce his decision and take her into custody, which he cannot do. Federal marshals are part of the Executive Branch, not the Judicial Branch; he has absolutely no authority to order any federal marshal to do anything.

Significantly, the Founders -- and thus the Constitution -- did not give power to the Judiciary to enforce any of its decisions -- they deliberately made it powerless in this regards. They made the Executive Branch alone responsible for enforcement.

So while Judge Bunning can (and did) issue his personal opinion regarding Kim Davis, his personal opinion does not have the force of law. (By the way, check any civics book: a law must originate as a measure proposed in the House or Senate, be passed by both, and then signed by the president. Only then and by this means does anything become law.) Bunning must thus ask (not order) the Executive Branch to enforce his opinion, and if it agrees, it can order its marshals to do so, but the Judicial Branch may order no such thing.

Sadly, not only did the Judicial Branch first take on itself the role of the Legislative Branch by issuing its ruling in the homosexual-marriage decision, but now it has assumed the role of the Executive Branch by attempting to enforce its own opinion. The Founding Fathers vehemently objected to this practice. As George Washington warned:

"[T]hose entrusted with its [the nation’s] administration [must] confine themselves within their respective constitutional spheres, avoiding in the exercise of the powers of one department to encroach upon another. The spirit of encroachment tends to consolidate the powers of all the departments in one and thus to create, whatever the form of government, a real despotism."

James Madison similarly charged:

"The preservation of a free government requires not merely that the metes and bounds which separate each department of power be universally maintained but more especially that neither of them be suffered to overleap the great barrier which defends the rights of the people. The rulers who are guilty of such an encroachment exceed the commission from which they derive their authority and are tyrants. The people who submit to it are governed by laws made neither by themselves nor by an authority derived from them and are slaves."

Samuel Adams agreed:

"In all good governments, the Legislative, Executive, and Judiciary powers are confined within the limits of their respective departments. If therefore it should be found that . . . either of the departments aforesaid should interfere with another, it will, if continued, essentially alter the Constitution, and may, in time, . . . be productive of such convulsions as may shake the political ground upon which we now happily stand."

Thomas Jefferson thus admonished that we must "cleave to the salutary distribution of powers which that [i.e., the Constitution] has established" and that if we ever move away from its separation of powers that "we shall be in danger of foundering."

Perhaps political philosopher Charles de Montesquieu -- a favorite of the Founders, and the most-cited human source in the political writings of the Founding Era -- said it best when he declared:

"There is no liberty if the power of judging be not separated from the legislative and executive powers."

So while the Kim Davis travesty continues, perhaps the most dangerous aspect of the entire controversy is that Judge Bunning personally ordered her to jail, thus blatantly violating one of the Constitution's most important provisions for securing the liberty of the entire people.

A Complete New Faith Being Pushed On America -- At Taxpayer Expense

A Complete New Faith Being Pushed On America -- At Taxpayer Expense

No one takes on a public policy stance without some firmly held belief, some foundational principle or worldview which they embrace, and from which they reason.

What has been happening in our society for decades is a titanic battle between two powerful, competing worldviews.

As Dr. Ben Carson, a prominent pediatric neurosurgeon and outspoken advocate for traditional American values would put it:
“The secular progressive agenda, quite frankly, is at odds with the Judeo-Christian value system. If you just keep quiet about it, they win by default. I’m a person that believes in live and let live; but I don’t believe you should suppress what you believe so that you don’t create waves or cause a problem.”

Read more at http://www.westernjournalism.com/ben-carson-just-turned-tables-social-leftists/#zqh1bODGJmxF4SkV.99

Unfortunately, one of those worldviews has had the advantage of pretending to be a 'reasonable' belief that is 'Free from religion.'

And it has gained virtually unlimited access to your tax dollars.

We have been financing a takeover by a Christianity-replacing faith.

The new PC faith, the belief system of true-believing liberals, is actually a thoroughly developed, reasonable-sounding worldview. It is self-identified as a "Bold new faith" which must be "Established" in "All mankind's institutions and associations," in Humanist Manifesto I. But you will never hear a liberal, progressive, Leftist in America utter those words or make that religious identification.

http://www.americanhumanist.org/Who_We_Are/About_Humanism/Humanist_Manifesto_I

Many citizens see the symptoms and the effects, but most people do not realize that there is a battle of major cultural significance, an all-out tug-of-war of ethics and ideology, happening in America. But the battle seems to be going to the progressive/Humanist side, and most citizens have no idea of the true Founding principles of America"

https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=327689154055679

Contrast these Christian principles with this:

http://newscenter.berkeley.edu/2013/03/12/non-believers/

WHAT THE NEW BELIEF SYSTEM LOOKS LIKE, AND HOW IT OPERATES

This is how the new secular/progressive 'faithful' are organized and how they behave:

1.-  The ACLU are the legal enforcers of the new faith (Obedience and Discipline), brandishing their flaming secular legal sword at any slightest whiff of Christianity that dares to pop up anywhere in public life.

The ACLU has been very visible and vocal in public policy struggles, though most citizens are mystified by the motives and strange positions taken by this so-called defender of 'rights.' The ACLU goes to court to enforce 'separation of church and state' found, NOT in America's Constitution, but found in the Humanist Manifestos and the old, failed Soviet Constitution, Article 52:

"The church shall be separate from the state, and the schools from the church."
It is ironic, insulting and tragic that we finance a school system that enforces this Soviet version of our 'rights.'

The ACLU and Humanism are philosophically and historically tied together.

Roger Baldwin, ACLU founder, stated categorically: "Communism is the goal!" He refused for the rest of his life to modify or retract this statement.

"In later years Baldwin occasionally wrote for The Humanist. On one occasion he reviewed a book for The Humanist by Corliss Lamont whose credentials as a Humanist include being named "Humanist of the Year" for 1977, being signatory to Humanist Manifesto II, and serving as honorary president of the AHA. Baldwin gave this evaluation of Lamont's book: "It reads like an expanded annual report of the Civil Liberties Bureau."(6)
In addition to Lamont's Humanist affiliations, he also sat on the ACLU board for many years, thus further demonstrating the compatibility of Humanism and the ACLU. (Eventually, Lamont did reject the ACLU because of its stand against communism.)

Baldwin served as Director of the ACLU until 1949, but thereafter continued to influence the Union as a member of the National Advisory Council." -- http://truthmagazine.com/archives/volume28/GOT028220.html?PHPSESSID=82a8ccd5166720259fa609741a9a97f4

Mainstream News Media, Alphabet TV Networks, Big Print Journalists are the 'Ministers of Truth' (Preachers) of the new faith, and publishers of the will of the Democrat party. Recent evidence is the unashamed gratitude from Joe Biden and other Democrats for Lamestream 'news' media advocacy of anti-Constitution 'gun control' measures. Old-school journalists would be repulsed by such praise from government representatives.
Modern 'journalists' actually bask in it, preening over their politically correct 'reporting.'

http://nation.foxnews.com/joe-biden/2013/04/11/biden-msnbc-host-deserves-award http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Journalism/2013/04/11/Pro-Gun-Control-Senator-to-CNN-Anchor-We-Appreciate-Your-Support

Anyone who knows what journalism is supposed to be, how they are supposed to use First Amendment Freedom of the Press to scrutinize and expose government, should be sickened by Lamestream 'news' preachers.

The American Humanists are behind lawsuits to prevent county commissioners from daring to mention Jesus Christ and praying: http://washington.cbslocal.com/2014/03/28/carroll-county-commissioner-willing-to-go-to-jail-opening-meeting-with-prayer-despite-judges-ruling/

http://eagnews.org/common-core-in-sync-with-american-humanist-associations-10-guiding-principles-for-teaching-values/

2.- 'Gay rights' activists are the shock troops (Onward, true-believing soldiers), the politically astute, PC Grand Inquisitors, the aggressive vanguard of the Humanists. Dare to question their 'Diversity!' mantra and you will face rage and possible lawsuits. How far will they push you? As far as they can.  These activists never hesitate to use the courts to push their agenda, even if it tramples Constitutional, First Amendment Freedoms:

"Meet Barronelle Stutzman -- who is being treated as Washington State’s Public Enemy No. 1.
Stutzman is a grandmother, a devout Southern Baptist and the owner of a small flower shop. The 70-year-old Christian is also opposed to gay marriage — a religious belief that could cost Stutzman her business, her life-savings and even her home.
A Washington judge ruled Feb. 18 that Stutzman, the owner of Arlene’s Flowers, violated the law when she refused to provide flowers to a same-sex couple for their wedding."

 http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2015/02/19/why-does-government-consider-this-grandmother-public-enemy-no-1/

'Marriage' and other public policy concessions are simply used by homosexual activists as stepping stones and legal sledge hammers against straight society.

"“Marriage equality” is their hypocritical rallying cry. But the cat has been out of the bag for a long time, and everyone is fast beginning to realize that this is the most ridiculous thing they’ve ever heard. It’s nothing more than a godless demand for unrestricted debauchery. What they really want is not equality, but absolute cultural dominance. Their unmasked agenda involves the implementation of an oppressive double standard in which their “gay” Special Rights invariably squash our all-important Civil Rights. It’s the “gay” way or the highway.

'Even knowing that there are radicals in all movements, doesn’t lessen the startling admission recently by lesbian journalist Masha Gessen. On a radio show she actually admits that homosexual activists are lying about their radical political agenda. She says that they don’t want to access the institution of marriage; they want to radically redefine and eventually eliminate it.
Here is what she recently said on a radio interview:'
“It’s a no-brainer that (homosexual activists) should have the right to marry, but I also think equally that it’s a no-brainer that the institution of marriage should not exist. …(F)ighting for gay marriage generally involves lying about what we are going to do with marriage when we get there — because we lie that the institution of marriage is not going to change, and that is a lie.
The institution of marriage is going to change, and it should change. And again, I don’t think it should exist. And I don’t like taking part in creating fictions about my life. That’s sort of not what I had in mind when I came out thirty years ago.
I have three kids who have five parents, more or less, and I don’t see why they shouldn’t have five parents legally… I met my new partner, and she had just had a baby, and that baby’s biological father is my brother, and my daughter’s biological father is a man who lives in Russia, and my adopted son also considers him his father. So the five parents break down into two groups of three… And really, I would like to live in a legal system that is capable of reflecting that reality, and I don’t think that’s compatible with the institution of marriage.”
(Source: http://www.abc.net.au/radionational/programs/lifematters/why-get-married/4058506)

"Why is homosexual marriage even wanted? Just why is it that some homosexuals are so insistent on marriage rights? As many homosexuals themselves admit, a major reason why they want marriage is not so much to be like heterosexuals, or because they want to abandon their more free and promiscuous lifestyle, but because of its symbolic value.
It will give them public recognition, approval and acceptance. This has long been the overriding goal of the homosexual lobby: complete social and public endorsement and approval. Thus by getting marriage rights, and, in turn, the last hurdle for homosexuals, full adoption rights, homosexuals will have achieved their longstanding goal: legitimizing the homosexual lifestyle.
As even Time magazine admitted, in an article on same-sex marriage, the real goal is complete social acceptance and validation: “Ultimately, of course, the battle for gay marriage has always been about more than winning the second-driver discount at the Avis counter. In fact, the individual who has done most to push same-sex marriage – a brilliant 43-year-old lawyer-activist named Evan Wolfson – doesn’t even have a boyfriend. He and the others who brought the marriage lawsuits of the past decade want nothing less than full social equality, total validation – not just the right to inherit a mother-in-law’s Cadillac. As Andrew Sullivan, the (also persistently single) intellectual force behind gay marriage, has written, ‘Including homosexuals within marriage would be a means of conferring the highest form of social approval imaginable’.”
One leading Australian homosexual activist puts it this way: “The argument is quite simple: marriage is the ultimate legitimation of equality, according same-sex relationships the same status as heterosexual ones. Essentially this is a symbolic claim, for there is a whole raft of ways in which the state regulates relationships outside formal marriage.”
Indeed, the bottom line of all homosexual activism is ultimately just that: complete social acceptance and approval. As some American activists put it back in 1989, “to gain straight tolerance and acceptance is not just a legitimate goal of gay activism, it must be the principal goal.”

http://billmuehlenberg.com/2012/02/19/the-case-against-same-sex-marriage/
This advocacy group constantly gives away it's focus on children, and following homosexuals 'marriage' victories will be a push for lowering 'age-of-consent' laws.  In the meantime, the indoctrination and special-pleading continues.

http://unclesamsmisguidedchildwriters.blogspot.com/2015/02/liberals-propose-gay-school-for-kids-as.html

This focus on youth has always been denied by pro-homosexual activists, but the fact is that they don't reproduce....They have to recruit, and they use government to do it.
I caught them back during the Governor Mike Lowry era, after having materials dished off to me by some frightened DSHS/CPS employees who absolutely did not want this kind of recruiting going on at taxpayer expense.
I exposed it, bringing it to the House Speaker and Senate Majority Leader in Olympia, alerting other pro-family Legislators and calling press conferences at the Capitol, providing press packets with copies of the actual SMI documentation.
It was all about pro-homosexual favoritism in government, but the one that really outraged and motivated me was the one that had DSHS bringing in adult homosexual and lesbian 'mentors' to 'counsel' minor children in the state's custody regarding their "emerging feelings and sexual orientation."
It was outright cruising on, recruiting of vulnerable kids, separated from their families and subject to any kind of treatment by homosexuals and lesbians, all financed by taxpayers.
Yes, Governor Lowry was embarrassed and forced to do take-backs, but I guarantee you that since that time the recruiting still goes on.
Perverted is the only thing you can call it. It exposes the true nature of the homosexual political agenda.
I had my home vandalized, my wife would receive dozens of threatening phone calls when the opposition knew I was gone at meetings, I had death threats and threats to blow up or burn down buildings or businesses where I was holding meetings, my church was surrounded by 450 pro-homosexual activists, banging drums, blowing noisemakers, performing mock sex acts, throwing rocks at cars, threatening congregants...... These are model citizens.
And since those days they have not let up. They continue to push.
Now they're suing a grandmother, trying to run her out of business for daring to follow her firmly held religious beliefs.
-------------------------
"That is not the state’s intent, and the campaign will be renamed “Sexual Orientation Initiative,” Rodriguez said.
References to affirmative action for state hiring or other purposes “must be removed,” he said. The state’s insistence on not allowing discrimination or harassment of gays remains solid and will remain a part of state government training, but no special rights are intended, he said.
***"He also removed a section requiring DSHS to hire people to provide outreach and advocacy for gay clients."***
That's how Lamestream 'news' media reported the 'mentors' for minor children, teaching them how to get involved in homosexual behavior, making contacts and grooming them. Sick.

3.- Environmental extremists are the preening, 'righteousness' arm of the Humanists, 'saving the planet' (Salvation) whether you want their messianic ministry and their Big Brother home-peeping and regulation of your shower head, your light bulbs, your grocery bags, and garbage-monitoring e-chips forced on you or not. Insisting that we leave our own vast natural gas, coal and oil resources in the ground, so we can become third-world beggars like the rest of the 'world community.' And their beliefs are killing our economy, as we enrich our enemies. "Sustainable" is a worship word that means regulate you, tax you and diminish your quality of life, all for a hoax:

http://davehatter.wordpress.com/2009/04/17/global-warmingclimate-change-is-the-greatest-scam-in-history/

The federal government is using 'environmental concerns' and 'endangered species' claims to grab land from ranchers and farmers from Texas to California:

Those who refuse to believe must be punished by 'climate change' Inquisitors:   http://ecowatch.com/2015/03/16/al-gore-sxsw-punish-climate-deniers/

4.- The 'Choice' crowd makes certain that the blood of innocent unborn children (Sacraments) is offered up to their cause. Their noble efforts are not to be questioned, and regarding their ghoulish practices...just do not think about the 50 Million babies butchered so far. Those defending abortion must defend the acts of this man, and laugh with him about the ease of killing the innocent:

http://www.foxnews.com/us/2013/05/15/gosnell-gets-life-in-prison-no-parole/

The ruthless, relentless, aggressive nature of the abortion movment is often hidden and softened by Lamestream 'news' media, but whenever the widespread grip of pro-death activistism is exposed we see the ugly face of those who absolutely insist on the 'medical procedure' of killing innocent little babies.Even trusted, 'cute' groups of youth, such as the Girl Scouts, are cynically used, indoctrinated and used as front groups for powerful, well-organized groups in the death lobby, such as Planned Parenthood.

They recruited other people's children, using public schools and sex education.

5.- Big Government, Obamacare (Ministering to the Sick) will create disastrous results, with years-long waiting lists, neglected and abused patients and IRS-controlled death panels, but many will still believe that government is their good shepherd:

http://www.guardian.co.uk/society/2013/apr/18/nhs-staff-levels-risk-scandal http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/4916633/NHS-organs-scandal.html

http://www.express.co.uk/news/health/401575/Free-loading-foreigners-in-70m-NHS-rip-off-After-treatment-they-fly-home-without-paying

It has already been tested. We know the results of nationalized healthcare. But faith is more important...

6.- Gun Control - (Spreading Peace and Love) Every school shooter violates multiple layers of existing gun laws, but the progressive/Humanist true-believer is convinced that making even more laws to restrict Constitutional Freedoms - will somehow enforce a 'just', peaceful and loving society and school environment.
Washington State Representative Liz Pike and Bob Larimer in a recent ABC TV affiliate debate on Your Voice, Your Vote, Concealed Carry In Public Schools:

 http://www.katu.com/politics/Your-Voice-Your-Vote-Guns-in-school-188757131.html

7.-"Giving back" - Liberal politicians enforce charitable 'tithing' (Sacrificial giving) through confiscatory taxation, scolding about 'fairness' and equitable 'redistribution' of wealth and resources, then use the money to advance Humanist principles and grow their influence through tyrannical public policies.

8.- Taxpayer-financed education - K-12 and university - provide training in the correct manner of thinking and behaving (Sunday School 5 days per week, and Missionary outreach), constantly demonstrating or subtly hinting that Christianity is primitive, dangerous, irrelevant or 'harmful,' and sanitizing any last vestige of a Christian heritage from our society, and teaching students to earnestly - erroneously - chant that "America was founded on freedom from religion!"

Teachers Unions - from the N.E.A. and down through outspoken activists in their state and local unions - and 'International Unions' are the fraternal organizations (Faith-based organizations) associated with the Religious Left, they give votes, money and activist shoe leather to the Humanist movement. They are also the most powerful, influential lobbyists in D.C. and your state Legislature, making all kinds of legislation, not just education, their business. Politicians are ordinarily afraid to defy them. That is one of the reasons for their vitriol and outrage against Governor Scott Walker of Wisconsin:

"I am convinced that the battle for humankind's future must be waged and won in the public school classroom by teachers that correctly perceive their role as proselytizers of a new faith: a religion of humanity that recognizes and respects the spark of what theologians call divinity in every human being... The classroom must and will become an arena of conflict between the old and new -- the rotting corpse of Christianity, together with all its adjacent evils and misery, and the new faith of humanism, resplendent with the promise of a world in which the never-realized Christian ideal of 'love thy neighbor' will finally be achieved." -- "A Religion For A New Age," The Humanist magazine, January-February 1983 [Volume 43, Number 1]

There is nothing benign about the push to change the thinking of other people's children in public schools.

Here, Texas 6th graders are tasked with designing Socialist flags for a new Socialist nation:

"Does that sound like we're sympathizing with those types of countries?" Sen. Larry Taylor (R-Friendswood) asked regarding the flag assignment. He later said that he found it “very egregious as a Texas and an American.”

http://www.eagleforum.org/educate/1999/july99/columbine.htmlhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=e-g-QRogcN0 Founding signer of Humanist Manifesto I, John Dewey, is an icon of education. He made it plain that he understands that his new belief system is specifically religious:

"In the degree in which we cease to depend upon belief in the supernatural, selection is enlightened and choice can be made in behalf of ideals whose inherent relations to conditions and consequences are understood."
-Preface To Philosophy, "Humanism: A Modern Religion," John Dewey, MacMillan, 1946, page 396.

Imagine that!

"Choice and enlightenment," buzzwords of the new faith, introduced in the 1930's.

Along with 'diversity, world community, consenting adults, cultural pluralism, multiculturalism, social justice, redistribution, lifelong learning, separation of church and state and other worship words and phrases of the Religious Left, these are saturated into public education.

At the same time, anyone keeping abreast of current events in recent decades could not help but notice the relentless, fanatical effort to sanitize public schools of any last remnant of Christian beliefs, prayers, observances or faith-based displays such as the Ten Commandments.

Just for fun and in keeping with the 'Season': Does your child or grandchild's school have a Christmas Break, or a Christmas Concert?

I didn't think so.  They are now Winter Breaks, or Holiday Concerts.

Fairly recent changes, and symptomatic of the secular progressive/Humanist takeover. Eliminating these 'harmful influences' that depend upon a belief in the supernatural, in Dewey's terms, is a sign of 'progress' in society.

For any who remain skeptical about the influence of Humanism on education, just plug in the terms Life Long Learning, a comma, and Humanism into Google. You will get a tremendous amount of documentation that will demonstrate just how fully saturated with this new belief system all branches of education - and the training of educators - really are.

http://www.humanevents.com/2013/04/15/the-troubling-extremism-of-johns-hopkins-and-planned-parenthood/

9.- The dominant media culture - and entertainment media - are the high priests of the faith (Evangelism), always attacking the 'Religious Right,' but never once doing an expose' on the 'Religious Left.' Have you ever seen a 'news' program about the Religious Left?

10.- Gatherings of Humanist-indoctrinated faithful (Worship services), usually involve someone quoting disjointed poetry about someone's village and someone elses' children, or chanting protests and Humanist mantras. They can include inspiring music by special guests, and ghastly spectacles such as those screaming, chanting crowds, wearing theme T-shirts at the memorial services of innocent people gunned down in Arizona.

The gathering at the Capitol Mall in Wisconsin, complete with the Communist Party marching in solidarity with teachers unions and 'international unions,' along with Barack Hussein Obama's own campaign organization (Organizing For America), are also participating in a noisy worship service. Their self-righteousness is on full display. Not much decorum or solemn assembly at such services? Well, it is after all, a different kind of faith.

What does 'Zero Tolerance' in public schools really mean?

Common Core is under fire across America, not just for the convoluted, confusing, time-comsuming pretzel logic of its 'solutions' to student difficulties in math, but because it is another liberal, agenda-driven means of indoctrinating public school children into one 'approved' standard across the nation, instead of parental and local standards. As Michelle Malkin points out in "Teachers Union 101 -- A Is For Agitation": “Agitation,” of course, is a full-time job for teachers union officials in New York and across the country. As the New York Post reported exclusively this week, the city Department of Education compensates some 1,500 teachers for their union activities and also subsidizes other teachers who take their places in the classroom:

“It’s a sweetheart deal that costs taxpayers an extra $9 million a year to pay fill-ins for instructors who are sprung — at full pay — to carry out responsibilities for the United Federation of Teachers.”

The UFT soldiers “collect top pay and fringe benefits, but work just one class period a day.” Nice non-work if you can get it. NYSUT, by the way, is the parent of the double-dipping UFT, which itself rakes in $126 million in member dues — but only reimburses the city less than $1 million out of the $9 million it costs to take teachers out of the classroom to serve at the altar of Big Labor.

UFT is also a chapter of the American Federation of Teachers (AFT), which spent nearly $2 million on the election of President Barack Obama in 2008. (In return, you may recall, the Obama administration granted the UFT one of its coveted health care Waivers for Favors last year — exempting the behemoth union in a sweetheart deal from the federal mandate’s costly rules on phasing out annual health coverage limits.)

The forced-dues racket is big business for teachers unions crying poor. In Ohio, the state’s education association siphoned nearly $23 million from rank-and-file school workers to fatten up its union staff. The Ohio Education Association donated more than $1.6 million to Democratic campaigns last year and tossed off five-figure checks each to union and progressive allies in Oregon, Colorado and Policy Matters Ohio, a left-wing think tank funded by radical billionaire George Soros.

At the federal level, the National Education Association squandered $13 million in teachers’ dues on every pet liberal cause and crony from the AFL-CIO ($150,000) and AFSCME ($90,000), to the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate ($200,000), Media Matters for America ($100,000) and the White House brigade at Health Care for America Now! ($450,000).

The goals of the teachers union machine are not academic excellence, professional development and fairness. As former NEA official John Lloyd explained it: “You cannot possibly understand NEA without understanding Saul Alinsky. If you want to understand NEA, go to the library and get ‘Rules for Radicals.’”

The goals are student indoctrination, social upheaval and perpetual agitation in pursuit of bigger government and spending without restraint. No wonder the signature “solidarity” color of the teachers union protests this month is red." http://www.facebook.com/notes/michelle-malkin/teachers-unions-101-a-is-for-agitation/10150096453830677

To see the overwhelming influence of Humanist beliefs on higher education, teaching teachers what to believe and teach, do a Google search on this:

'Life long learning, Humanism'

You will be amazed at the vast amount of 'legitimate' material being pumped at those who will have influence, and who will teach children.

Some, of course, come right through our taxpayer-financed Department of Education:

"Humanistic Education For Life-Long Learning"

"There is growing in the United States what might modestly be called a movement towards humanistic education."

But the appearance of Humanism and its focus in education are just localized and temporary, right?

Wrong.

It is a major focus, and has been for decades, at the United Nations:

"Since its creation in 1945, UNESCO’s mission has
been to contribute to the building of peace, poverty
eradication, lasting development and intercultural
dialogue, with education as one of its principal
activities to achieve this aim. The Organization’s other
elds of action include the natural sciences, the social
and human sciences, culture, and communication
and information.
Today, UNESCO is committed to a holistic and
humanistic vision of quality education worldwide..."

"It acts as a powerful tool to achieve UNESCO’s
priorities and increase the Organization’s visibility.
ASPnet’s priorities are to promote EFA and disseminate
examples of quality education in practice, with an
emphasis on education for sustainable development,
peace and human rights, and intercultural learning. The
network further serves as an international laboratory for
new educational practices which reinforce the humanistic,
ethical and international dimensions of education."

It is all faith-based.

11.- Global Evangelistic Outreach.  In Humanist Manifesto II we find the ultimate goal: "World Community TWELFTH: We deplore the division of humankind on nationalistic grounds. We have reached a turning point in human history where the best option is to transcend the limits of national sovereignty and to move toward the building of a world community in which all sectors of the human family can participate. Thus we look to the development of a system of world law and a world order based upon transnational federal government. This would appreciate cultural pluralism and diversity."

Lest anyone think this taxpayer-financed push is an undocumented claim, here's an elected representative speaking plainly about it:

The Ruling Elite in Washington D.C. routinely expose their belief that America's borders are mere inconveniences, and should not be considered to have any hard and fast, Consitutional significance:

http://www.breitbart.com/Breitbart-TV/2014/06/28/Pelosi-on-the-Border-We-Have-to-Use-This-Crisis-as-an-Opportunity

In the meantime, the naive and uninformed (Through purposeful censorship by 'news' media and the edustocracy), are trampled, totally overwhelmed by the insistent, uniform, relentless nature of this full-scale, taxpayer-financed attack on traditional American values and Bible-believing Christianity.{Having been involved in exposing Humanist beliefs since the early 80's, my personal experience is that 'news' media and educators will stonewall, deny or attack, when confronted with information on Humanism and its influence}

All of the groups named and noted above consistently chant the 'Diversity, Choice, World Community, Cultural Pluralism, Consenting Adults, Sustainability, Redistribution, Separation' mantras of the Humanist Manifestos. If you study the issue, you will find that none of these PC worship words were used in 'the news,' in city councils, county commissions, state legislatures, Congress, the courts, public schools and college campuses, entertainment, music or public policy battles until AFTER the Humanist Manifestos were promulgated, first in 1933, then revised and expanded in 1973.

The outcomes of the influence of Humanist goals and beliefs on American society have been devastating:

You don't think it is widespread and growing?    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8uRNG62_WvI

12.- Ideological Purity:  Liberalism is the political ideology  that provides a smokescreen and a front for Humanism in our culture. As accurately exposed by Matt Barber, liberalism violates and teaches its unwitting followers to violate all Ten Commandments.

This has wracked our culture with social and economic problems that may prove to be insurmountable:

http://barbwire.com/2014/05/17/liberalism-violates-10-commandments/

The old Christian ethic still lingers in America, and its verifiable, historical basis can not be hidden or denied. Secular progressive 'historians' argue strenuously that America has never been a 'Christian nation' and that our Founders were skeptical of religion and deliberately 'neutral' toward Christianity. This is the view taught in our public schools, across the nation.

In the Declaration of Independence, however, the Founders made their highest appeal to our Creator for their just cause, noting that all mankind's Liberty comes from Him.

After the Revolution, they struggled to find a form of government that would provide freedom from tyranny, limit government's powers and offer the most opportunity for citizens to 'pursue happiness.' And aged and wise Benjamin Franklin rose to address the Continental Congress and remind them of the help that was available to them:

Delivered Thursday, June 28, 1787, Philadelphia, PA

"Mr. President:
The small progress we have made after 4 or five weeks close attendance & continual reasonings with each other -- our different sentiments on almost every question, several of the last producing as many noes as ays, is methinks a melancholy proof of the imperfection of the Human Understanding. We indeed seem to feel our own wont of political wisdom, since we have been running about in search of it. We have gone back to ancient history for models of government, and examined the different forms of those Republics which having been formed with the seeds of their own dissolution now no longer exist. And we have viewed Modern States all round Europe, but find none of their Constitutions suitable to our circumstances.
In this situation of this Assembly groping as it were in the dark to find political truth, and scarce able to distinguish it when to us, how has it happened, Sir, that we have not hitherto once thought of humbly applying to the Father of lights to illuminate our understandings? In the beginning of the contest with G. Britain, when we were sensible of danger we had daily prayer in this room for the Divine Protection. -- Our prayers, Sir, were heard, and they were graciously answered. All of us who were engaged in the struggle must have observed frequent instances of a Superintending providence in our favor. To that kind providence we owe this happy opportunity of consulting in peace on the means of establishing our future national felicity. And have we now forgotten that powerful friend? or do we imagine that we no longer need His assistance.
I have lived, Sir, a long time and the longer I live, the more convincing proofs I see of this truth -- that God governs in the affairs of men. And if a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without his notice, is it probable that an empire can rise without his aid? We have been assured, Sir, in the sacred writings that "except the Lord build they labor in vain that build it." I firmly believe this; and I also believe that without his concurring aid we shall succeed in this political building no better than the Builders of Babel: We shall be divided by our little partial local interests; our projects will be confounded, and we ourselves shall be become a reproach and a bye word down to future age. And what is worse, mankind may hereafter this unfortunate instance, despair of establishing Governments by Human Wisdom, and leave it to chance, war, and conquest.
I therefore beg leave to move -- that henceforth prayers imploring the assistance of Heaven, and its blessings on our deliberations, be held in this Assembly every morning before we proceed to business, and that one or more of the Clergy of this City be requested to officiate in that service." --Benjamin Franklin

http://www.americanrhetoric.com/speeches/benfranklin.htm

Would Benjamin Franklin have quoted Jesus Christ, would he have reminded the Founders of answered prayers, would he have made such a speech, if he really did not believe in God?

Consider the significance of the following, also:

"Many people are surprised to learn that the United States Capitol regularly served as a church building; a practice that began even before Congress officially moved into the building and lasted until well after the Civil War. Below is a brief history of the Capitol's use as a church, and some of the prominent individuals who attended services there.
CAPITOL IN 1800
The cornerstone of the Capitol was laid by President George Washington in 1793., but it was not until the end of 1800 that Congress actually moved into the building. According to the congressional records for late November of 1800, Congress spent the first few weeks organizing the Capitol rooms, committees, locations, etc. Then, on December 4, 1800, Congress approved the use of the Capitol building as a church building. 1
The approval of the Capitol for church was given by both the House and the Senate, with House approval being given by Speaker of the House, Theodore Sedgwick, and Senate approval being given by the President of the Senate, Thomas Jefferson. Interestingly, Jefferson's approval came while he was still officially the Vice- President but after he had just been elected President."

"Jefferson attended church at the Capitol while he was Vice President5 and also throughout his presidency. The first Capitol church service that Jefferson attended as President was a service preached by Jefferson's friend, the Rev. John Leland, on January 3, 1802. 6Significantly, Jefferson attended that Capitol church service just two days after he penned his famous letter containing the "wall ofseparation between church and state" metaphor.
MANASSEH CUTLER
U. S. Rep. Manasseh Cutler, who also attended church at the Capitol, recorded in his own diary that "He [Jefferson] and his family have constantly attended public worship in the Hall." 7Mary Bayard Smith, another attendee at the Capitol services, confirmed: "Mr. Jefferson, during his whole administration, was a most regular attendant." 8 She noted that Jefferson even had a designated seat at the Capitol church: "The seat he chose the first Sabbath, and the adjoining one (which his private secretary occupied), were ever afterwards by the courtesy of the congregation, left for him and his secretary." 9 Jefferson was so committed to those services that he would not even allow inclement weather to dissuade him; as Rep. Cutler noted: "It was very rainy, but his [Jefferson's] ardent zeal brought him through the rain and on horseback to the Hall." 10 Other diary entries confirm Jefferson's attendance in spite of bad weather. 11"  - http://wallbuilders.com/LIBissuesArticles.asp?id=90

Surprised?  How many of us never heard or read one word of this factual information while attending public school or college?  Why? Because our instructors were too busy convincing us that America's most influential  Founders were  'deists,' 'neutral' or even hostile to Christianity. It should insult the intellectual honesty of any citizen to realize the censorship that has been inflicted on us.

In our modern day we have such technology and resources. Imagine what we could do for students, how they could excel, if only we were educating them instead of babying and indoctrinating them.

We think of the Founders as geniuses,  and so they were.

While they relied on their Creator in the greatest human appeal to Liberty ever written (Declaration of Independence), they all had educations that would make the average public school teacher or college instructor blush.

They and their contemporaries were living proof that high expectations, rigid qualifications, produce well-educated young people.

Imagine any of your high school or college students mastering any of this, and remember that in the Founders' day, there was no such thing as public education.

The reason they later mandated education  was specifically so that students would never forget what price had been paid for Freedom, and so that they would never give in to the appeal to create or live under a massive, centralized governmental authority.

The Founders had been there and done that, and they paid in blood to get out from under it!

A Few Declarations of Founding Fathers and Early Statesmen on Jesus, Christianity, and the Bible
(This list is by no means exhaustive; many other Founders could be included, and even with those who appear below, additional quotes could have been used.)
John Adams

SIGNER OF THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE; JUDGE; DIPLOMAT; ONE OF TWO SIGNERS OF THE BILL OF RIGHTS; SECOND PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES
The general principles on which the fathers achieved independence were the general principles of Christianity. I will avow that I then believed, and now believe, that those general principles of Christianity are as eternal and immutable as the existence and attributes of God.1
Without religion, this world would be something not fit to be mentioned in polite company: I mean hell.2
The Christian religion is, above all the religions that ever prevailed or existed in ancient or modern times, the religion of wisdom, virtue, equity and humanity.3
Suppose a nation in some distant region should take the Bible for their only law book and every member should regulate his conduct by the precepts there exhibited. . . . What a Eutopia – what a Paradise would this region be!4
I have examined all religions, and the result is that the Bible is the best book in the world.5

  •  John Hancock
SIGNER OF THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE; PRESIDENT OF CONGRESS; REVOLUTIONARY GENERAL; GOVERNOR OF MASSACHUSETTS
Sensible of the importance of Christian piety and virtue to the order and happiness of a state, I cannot but earnestly commend to you every measure for their support and encouragement.37
He called on the entire state to pray “that universal happiness may be established in the world [and] that all may bow to the scepter of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the whole earth be filled with His glory.”38
He also called on the State of Massachusetts to pray . . .
  • that all nations may bow to the scepter of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and that the whole earth may be filled with his glory.39
  • that the spiritual kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ may be continually increasing until the whole earth shall be filled with His glory.40
  • to confess their sins and to implore forgiveness of God through the merits of the Savior of the World.41
  • to cause the benign religion of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to be known, understood, and practiced among all the inhabitants of the earth.42
  • to confess their sins before God and implore His forgiveness through the merits and mediation of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.43
  • that He would finally overrule all events to the advancement of the Redeemer’s kingdom and the establishment of universal peace and good will among men.44
  • that the kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ may be established in peace and righteousness among all the nations of the earth.45
  • that with true contrition of heart we may confess our sins, resolve to forsake them, and implore the Divine forgiveness, through the merits and mediation of Jesus Christ, our Savior. . . . And finally to overrule all the commotions in the world to the spreading the true religion of our Lord Jesus Christ in its purity and power among all the people of the earth.46
John Hart

JUDGE; LEGISLATOR; SIGNER OF THE DECLARATION
[T]hanks be given unto Almighty God therefore, and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die and after that the judgment [Hebrews 9:27] . . . principally, I give and recommend my soul into the hands of Almighty God who gave it and my body to the earth to be buried in a decent and Christian like manner . . . to receive the same again at the general resurrection by the mighty power of God.47
Patrick Henry

REVOLUTIONARY GENERAL; LEGISLATOR; “THE VOICE OF LIBERTY”; RATIFIER OF THE U. S. CONSTITUTION; GOVERNOR OF VIRGINIA
Being a Christian… is a character which I prize far above all this world has or can boast.48
The Bible… is a book worth more than all the other books that were ever printed.49
Righteousness alone can exalt [America] as a nation...Whoever thou art, remember this; and in thy sphere practice virtue thyself, and encourage it in others.50
The great pillars of all government and of social life [are] virtue, morality, and religion. This is the armor, my friend, and this alone, that renders us invincible.51
This is all the inheritance I can give to my dear family. The religion of Christ can give them one which will make them rich indeed.52

Adding more official well-researched affirmations regarding America's Founding:   After an exhaustive search of America's official documents, speeches and even private letters, the United States Supreme Court made this statement:

“These and many other matters which might be noticed, add a volume of unofficial declarations to the mass of organic utterances that this is a Christian nation.” --U. S. Supreme Court 1892.

http://www.christianworldviewofhistoryandculture.com/holytrinityvssupremecourt

They may not have had computers or Google, but the court used available documents and the best research techniques of their day and came to this conclusion.

Our forefathers came to these shores “For the glory of God, and the advancement of the Christian faith,” (Mayflower Compact), when the Church of England attempted to force Bible-believers to only preach and hear government-approved sermons. Their firm resolve and impulse for Freedom eventually resulted in a world-changing Declaration of Independence, Constitution and Bill of Rights which listed first of all, freedom of faith-based beliefs: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.”

With our own tax dollars and government power, the burden of an 'Established' new faith of ‘Diversity’ that actually insists on conformity to the beliefs of secular progressive ideology is now being unilaterally dropped on our shoulders.

Shall we participate and be shackled by a new, government-approved faith, or shall we take our stand with all People of the Book, rejecting dictatorial government edicts that require us to violate our own beliefs?

An example of how the secular faith works out in public policies:

http://www.nationalrighttolifenews.org/news/tag/hhs/

Humanism advances socialism/marxism because only such control of economic matters can yield control of 'all mankind's institutions and associations' as Humanists have declared, and Humanism has helped the 'multiculturalism' necessary to force it on Americans:

http://www.marylandthursdaymeeting.com/Archives/SpecialWebDocuments/Cultural.Marxism.htm

http://www.nowtheendbegins.com/blog/?p=29369

Having been shown these things, no one can plead ignorance or attempt to employ false equivalences regarding the Religious Right and the Religious Left. Can you guess why you've never read, heard or seen a 'news' story exposing the Religious Left? Why would religious fanatics expose their own destructive goals?

America's future hinges on which worldview our society ultimately embraces. If we allow the wrong choice to be thrust on us, we will not survive as a nation. The Humanist movement is evil, manipulative, tyrannical and wholly dishonest. It will destroy us if we allow it.

When you hear 'Diversity' being chanted, know that Humanism is being preached.

For those who doubt the existence of this new religion, here is how they style themselves in a soon-to-be-launched national advertising campaign:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5295iAo5aek

http://vimeo.com/16661719

Note that the new evangelists do not simply push their new faith, they first attack Bible-believing Christianity with out-of-context quotes. But at least they are finally coming out in the open, instead of indoctrinating from behind the scenes as they have done for decades.

Once again, the Humanist effort is shown to be a full-on attack on Christianity. For decades the Left denied Humanism. Now it's out in the open, 'saving' people from faith.  The following advertisement for a March 2015 meeting of Humanists across the Columbia River from me in Portland Oregon touts a sort of 'film' festival, attacking Bible believing people or 'rescuing'  them.
Hostility toward Christianity is a major feature of Humanism.

http://www.meetup.com/cfi-portland/events/220824728/

Still skeptical that Humanism is a religion? Recall the published words of Humanism's founder and progenitor, John Dewey, explaining that Humanism is a religion and calling for it to replace a 'belief in the supernatural.'  See Torcaso v. Watkins, U.S. Supreme Court, 1961, where Justice Black remarks that Atheism and Humanism are indeed religious beliefs.
