I can't prove this but......

I hear a lot about the idea that we need to spend less than we earn.

That's good common sense. It also can be defeating.

What I don't hear much of is, earn more than you spend.

How? Oh, I don't know,

• Start a business
• Get a better Job
• Develop better marketable skills
• Make investments that make good money
• Learn to make money from people who make money and quit hanging out with people who live paycheck to paycheck

I heard a guy say this 40 years ago and it still rings true today.

Earn more than you spend.
