The World Suddenly Changes

Peggy and I were out buying a few groceries a little after noon today.

The cell phone rang.

It was her brother.

Our Nephew, Luke, 18, was killed in an rollover crash last night.

That's Russel and Linda's Son.

We are in Lincoln. I wasn't planning this. Neither were they. Neither was Luke.

This is going to be hard.

sorry to hear this news. God comforts us always with His Word and Spirit, and through His people. May the Comforter remind your hearts always of the truth that we have a living hope through Jesus' resurrection from the dead. . Harold

Gene and Peggy,
I am sorry you have to endure this terrible time. I feel for Luke's parents, Russell and Linda as this has to be agony for them.
This is easy to write, but it is intended to remind you during this difficult time: "God won't take you to it without taking you through it"
My sympathy to all, Jerry
