A picture JUST taken at a Dallas Borders Bookstore

I don't think this requires any explanation

You people are sooooooo gullible -do you think it took anyone very long at all to switch those books? Obviously, with the teddy bear and other nearby books, it was it was in the kids section and someone quickly removed the kids bibles and such and replaced them with Obama books and snapped the picture - probably then took off, leaving it set up that way. And you are all so gullible, looking for proof of your silly and POINTLESS thesis that you will fall for it.

Yes, Anon, I agree it was set up. The book store sets those sections up with lots of books to sell, so the top holders usually have 2 or 3 stacked on, and the bottom by the teddy bear would have more books to sell. In this photo, if you bought one book, it would ruin the display and they just don't set up things that way. Someone moved out the religion books and put these there. Maybe not the one who went the photo in, that person may have stumbled on it after the person who set this up ran off. It IS all over the internet. People ARE gullible, aren't they?

It probably IS a gag... but truth in humor.

In fact there is a store, nay a shrine to Obama on Navy Pier.

You can buy all things Obama. You can walk in and shop, a quiet hush fills the air and you even get to keep your shoes on, for now.

The man IS our 44th president. People are curious. It IS historic, in that a black man and a woman ran against each other and in that a black man won. Truth be known, and history will see it this way, a biracial man won. That is how young people see him. They are not as either/or about race as we are. But it is historic for many reasons. ANY presidential election is inherently historic, this one a little more than others. So there will be books, there will be pins, there will be posters, there will be key chains and mugs and tote bags. Some of it is crass and commercial just like "Jesus Saves" stickers on a dirty bumper of a car stray to far from what people intended. My kids and I have read biographies, because we are curious and because the office deserves some respect and part of respect is learning about the person.
This thing has been spread like wildfire from blog to blog. What are people so afraid of that they are freaking out about this so much?
