NOT ME

Remember the cartoons of the little kids in Family Circus? The little gremlin that when the Kids would be accused of doing something bad, would say, NOT ME! The Ghost would appear and his name - NOT ME. So the Ghost did it.

What is so sad and ridiculous is that the Democrats are fully to blame for the whole mess on Wall Street and Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi is demonstrating the bankruptcy, not of wall street but of the whole Democrat controlled congress. I hope people remember these ghosts when Election day comes around. Let's get rid of these unaccountable toads. Here's the story:

Pelosi: Dems bear no responsibility for economic crisis

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, when asked Tuesday whether Democrats bear some of the responsibility regarding the current crisis on Wall Street, had a one-word answer: “No.”

Pelosi (D-Calif.) ripped President Bush’s “mismanagement” of the economy and a lack of regulation that led to the current situation.

“I think the American people have had it with this situation where the middle-income people in our country are not protected from the ramifications of the risk-taking and the greed of these financial institutions,” Pelosi told MSNBC.

When asked whether the Democrats “deserve some responsibility” regarding the economic crisis, Pelosi responded: “No.”

“John McCain said that this is a result of overregulation by the Democrats in Congress,” she added. “Either he doesn’t know what he's talking about or he’s misrepresenting the facts as he knows them. But it’s simply not true.”

they are not 'unaccountable toads' - they are just politicians - the same on both sides - not better standards one than the other - the big hope out here in voter land was that once the dems took over and got their shift into 'power' they would use it to end the war - well, they did not - why? they could have. they had the power to push for pull outs and make the process happen. but they did not because we all know it will be messy and they didn't want the blame for messy to be on them going into this fall's election. politicians. no better nor worse in this regard than the other side. so let's stick to issues and progress instead of blaming and nit-picking.
