Law and Order is Tops in New York

How dumb can you get and still breath?

Little girl arrested for drawing on the sidewalk with chalk.

Stop this insanity. I surprised they didn't hit her with a taser. That would have been right in line.

Accuracy is not important to you, is it? The little girl was not arrested. Nothing at all was directed toward her. When the notice from the city was issued, it had no way of knowing who had made the 'artwork'. The notice was issued to the owner of the property. There was no arrest. It was a notice to remove the 'graffiti' within a certain time frame. Rain will do that. This was a minor mistake. It means nothing. Other than that cities need to adjust their ordinance a bit to decide if they want to allow or prohibit such temporary art. Oak Park spray painted in permanant paint poetry on their commercial district sidewalks. Some were offended. It would be cool if you pointd out thse interesting stories WITHOUT using them to put down whole groups of people. Accuracy. It's a good thing.

That darn old English language.  To arrest means to STOP or Cause to Cease.

She was Arrested.

you know how you meant the word and you know that you were tying to be inflamatory. can you explain away the reference to taser use? taser use happens only in the kind of arrest we both know you were referring to. or were you useing the sense of her being shocked emotionally at the unjustness. c'mon gene, you got caught doing you usual thing. gross overexageration and misrepresentation of the real situation.
