When we lived in Germany and got to know our German friends well, there was the statement that after a while would come out. Hitler hat recht. Hitler was right about a lot of things.
The first time I was shocked, but as I saw the Auto Bahn, and other public works he did it became clear that there were things Hitler did that the German people admired.
And there was order. Alles in ordnung.
So, when I read this newspiece that 25% of Germans think the Nazis got a lot right it's not shock to me. I'm actually surprised it's as low as it is.

It's true. Germans at first admired Hitler. My wife's grandmother, who came over from Pomerania, received letters from family in Germany in the 1930's, and they were extolling how hitler was straightening thigns out in Germany!... H.A.H.
It's irrational to think he didn't do a lot right, it took us and the soviets to bring down one country, he really jump started Germany and brought them out of an economic drought. If not for his impatience and extremely immoral decisions in the later years...well, I don't even need to say. With liberal bias from public schools and the media, most Americans hear Hitler and automatically think the worst, but after studying actual facts, it's like uncovering a government conspiracy, it's obvious those in control don't trust us enough to teach both sides so we can make our own opinion, another example of the left's propaganda machine out of fear of the right.
