Spirit of Poverty

I see manifested a spirit of poverty in those who experience it.  It shows itself in grabbing, holding on, greed, pushing, shoving, hoarding and dibs.  

 

It is born of fear, self centeredness, selfishness and a lack of faith in God to provide. 

 

It may be that the number one thing God wants to set people free from is the spirit of poverty.  Even very rich people can have a spirit of poverty.  Poor people can have it.  Medium income people can have it.  The spirit of poverty is an equal income oppressor.

 

The question in the end is what does money mean to you?  He said, "Thou Shalt have no other Gods before me". 

 

Money is and can be a god.  If you put possessions and money above who he is you will be cursed with a curse and turned over to the tormenters who's name is the evil spirit of poverty.    Matthew 18:23-35 is always taught as being about forgiveness.  It is, but it's more importantly about those possessed and tormented with the demon of the spirit of poverty.
