Great Opera Tonite

At 9PM Chicago time, the PBS network is running the rise and fall of the city of Mahagony.   (pronounced mah ha go ny).

It's a Kurt Weil opera (of three Penny fame) and one I hold in great esteem.  Kurt Weil (pronounced VILE) is a great songmeister.

In any case, if you have time and energy, take a nap and get in on this wonderful opera.  I'm looking forward to it.

Have a good time.  Opera is wonderful stuff.

This is the one with Whisky Bar as a song.

In any case good stuff.
